  • Wow these forums are awfully quiet.. once upon a time these faction taunting's would flare up a storm.
  • Hmm... I might be returning to this game and I do enjoy helping others. Miugre brings forth a very good point. You gotta "soak up" the elements of the game to really enjoy it.
  • What type is it? If it has -6% chan then slap 3mil+ on it, depending on the type of necklace.
  • Screenshots can be found in the Perfect World folder, in it there will be 'element' and in there will be 'screenshots' Example: C:\Program Files\Perfect World International\element\screenshots
  • You do realise there is a rule against spamming? (Posting repetitive messages).
  • I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and…
  • In addition to what Jeigo said, you can also give WineBottler a try too which is basically Wine but a prepacked, UI friendly version. Mac OSX is essentially GNU/Linux but with a friendly GUI and a locked down but identical kernel so Wine/WineBottler should run flawlessly on it.
  • I haven't personally used Wine but if you've exhausted all other options then it's worth a shot. It's primarily a GNU/Linux program but since Mac OSX runs on the same kernel there's a version for it. Which version of Mac OSX do you have? I'll do a little research for it, if you want. It would also help to know the basic…
  • I was more going for cards under $100, cards that wont break the bank. And that card is only $160 now, the AMD Radeon 6770 would be a better candidate for $160 with better performance.
  • Yeah, it will play it. But don't expect to max it's graphic settings with any more than 10 fps. On low, you should get a consistent 20 fps provided that you aren't in lag city. If you're willing to dish out $100 extra you can get a dedicated graphics card: - nVidia GT 430 for $70 (Will max it with 15 fps in archosaur) -…
  • Have you tried Wine? Also, be helpful if technical support around here actually done research and provided information and reference instead of responding with weightless comments. Split OS programs? That's a very uninformative and vague description. I think you mean multi booting (multiple operating systems to boot from)…
  • When I went into BH51, I was the boss.
  • AMD has a far better version of 3D and multi-monitor support (5 monitors on a single card compared to nVidia's maximum of 3 on one card).
  • Allow me to interject for a moment. Windows XP by far is the most successful operating system with the largest list of compatibility. Windows 7 is on par with Windows XP, Windows Vista on the other hand is an utter failure.
  • Long story short. Your "friends" deleted you from their friendlist to make room for new friends as you were absent b:chuckle
  • Been here since early '09 or so. Still waiting on the rubberbanding glitch to be fixed. Better put on a keg of coffee, gonna take awhile.
  • Did you not note where I mentioned a molex connector? Bahahaha. You should get your eyes checked, you're getting old ;) We don't call it a "standard 4 pin peripheral power connector", it's called a molex connector. Oh, I do deal with high end gaming systems and for the most part they have multiple motherboard fan…
  • Oh honey, don't flatter me. I'm just having some fun with people who think they're IT professionals. Oh and that PCI fan you suggested, it's pretty much useless since his motherboard doesn't have a spare motherboard fan controller unless he's willing to dish out more money for a molex connector for it. General tip is to…
  • It's quite obviously overheating, GeForce 210's don't feature a cooling fan, they just have a basic heatsink and P4's have always been notorious for temperatures. And you're wrong again, they generally come with generic PSU's ranging from 175w to 375w and are more than capable of handling an entry level card such as the…
  • By "crash" what do you mean? Does it just freeze (lock up), does it BSoD (Blue Screen of Death) or does it just turn off without any warning? Does it happen on all servers? When did it begin doing this? It would also help if you could post a dxdiag regarding information about your computer.
  • Yes, I am aware. Are you aware that nVidia and AMD do their system power requirements based on the worse case scenario such as an overclocked i7 or Phenom II, multiple hard drives, after market cooling and such? Obviously not. How will you risk system components? All that will happen is it will BSoD asking for you to check…
  • You're getting artifacts, the GPU is overheating. But very rarely it could be a driver issue, so a reinstall wouldn't hurt. A minimum of 450w? Bahahaha. That's hilarious. The GeForce 210 will peform superbly on a 200w or even a 175w PSU (Power Supply Unit), it draws less than 30w on full load. You shouldn't be giving…
  • I experience this frequently, minus the crash on my gaming rig and it's usually fixed by a reboot. I realised it occurs when my desktop has been running for over 2 days continuously, so I figure it's an issue with an abundance of loaded .dll's and unsorted packets.
  • Pentium 4's are an aged processor and odds are your heatsink and fans are clogged up with dust. Pentium 4's were among the first to introduce an anti-overheat function, where they simply 'lockup' when overheating, so my guess is that and the graphics card (Geforce 210) which is very old and slow are causing this. Are you…
  • I beg to differ. I've monitored my GPU and CPU before, PWI has one of my cores running at 25% and my GPU runs at 30% load and uses 400MB of it's memory. So graphic cards are a key factor, I should also mention that CPU clock speeds are irrelevant. For instance, a PD overclocked at 4.2Ghz or even a Phenom II 955BE…
  • That used to be the case a few years ago but now that gaming laptops are becoming more mainstream prices have dropped. Today we can get a laptop with a 2nd generation, high-end i7 coupled with a GTX460M for $1,600 or we can get a desktop with a mid-range 1st generation i7 coupled with a GTS450 for $1,200 and both will…
  • No, it wont. The 6310 is one of AMD's new Fusion APU's (CPU and GPU in one chip). It features 80 stream processors and uses the computers ram as it's own whereas the 5570 features 400 stream processors and 1gb of dedicated ram, it's practically 4 times faster than the 6310 in terms of specifications. In gaming comparison,…
  • That's to do with your ISP - either change ISP or call them up. Oh, double check that your ISP isn't running you through a proxy which can be found in internet settings (option tab on all web browsers)
  • Do you remember any updates or software you installed prior to this? Try disabling PWI sounds or better yet put all settings to minimum and turn vsync on. Also check your system reports on applications (in event viewer in admin tools). Which Windows version are you using? XP, Vista, 7 (32 or 64bit) and what's your CPU, GPU…
