If the pets are not level-able, then yeah, having different stat mobs tamable is a good idea. But here, where the pets level along with player anyways, their stats will get better, so there is really no point in being able to tame "special" status mobs.

Bash is definitely the way to go... but do be careful when you're fighting Earth based bosses. The Herc will not do that much damage and you might steal aggro if you attack it hard enough. I don't think they're available in game yet... it's like the Legendary Pets, the items to trade them were already listed in Mrs. Zoologist (9999 Force or Feather) but they didn't come out till later. The aerogear tickets are the same way I think. -weng
