No, you're not wasting your time. People always need barbs, be it for buffs and devour only. Personally, no matter what class I play, I always end up with my barb. The only class I enjoy almost as much is BM, but yet I miss the HP and survivability. I you have fun playing it, stick with it.

Well, I dont know about the override effect of the Pan Gu's, I've never seen it happen. But the Gatherstorm effect is great. My max P Atk is 6839 with the Gatherstorm equipped and buffed, when it zerks, its 7696. Hope that helps you...

For the ranged mobs, I tend to run right through the Shade until the ranged mobs are close enough to it, then turn around and start the aggro routine. Usually works well, and if there are a few mobs left outside of the AOE range, the BM usually takes care of them.

LOL he just 1-shot through my 9.6k HP after I had DCed and came back. He landed 1 hit, 1164 HP. He didnt have time to debuff or AOE me. It was literatly 2 seconds after I relogged. Kinda screwed up IMO. At least I dont need any GBAs for my armor anymore >.<
