Next time if you wanna use roar then wait before they attack the cleric if you see that the mobs are attacking the cleric, then you use roar they will come to you, many mobs see cleric healing like aggro taking skill.

In random squad are to many people taking aggro and aoe skills.

Most of the barbs are always in a squad so maybe thats why there are not many barbs on your server because they playing with guild members for help or faster response squads.

Crazy stone and grinding and do all quests in the list you will be lvling fast to lv 40 and then you can do bhs

Try the force log button i tried that to and it works.

i was playing and then i got disconnect and now its says im already logged in b:lipcurl

Barb great hp and best tanker ever, and almost every squad needs a tanker.

Or you use mana shards there a big help.
