  • Emperor uses both physical and magical attacks (and both hurt me a lot >.<), so I personally use both types of defense charms and spam them as much as I can. Also, I throw an IH or 2 on myself when I get the chance.I also make sure I got loads of hp pots so that I'll have 1 target less to switch to :P As for the bubble, If…
  • I don't really mind a second (or even third) cleric in the squad. It's nice to know that there's someone in squad that can back you up if the situation gets ugly. Also, who knows? Maybe you'll learn something new from your squadmate cleric. Though, if it's an easy task, I either ask the other cleric(s) to just DD or tell…
  • Once I helped a few faction mates with a TT 1-2. At the first boss I notice that the barbs hp keeps falling (he was around lvl 75 with decent gear for his lvl) and I was wondering why is it so hard for him to tank it. After the boss is dead I realize that it wasn't the barb's fault... I forgot to equip my weapon after…
  • I almost always have physical ornaments on.I wear arcane armor which gives enough magic resistance to survive. The -channeling ornaments could be nice if you DD and could use a little channeling boost, but I personally only use them if I aoe grind magic mobs.A little extra mag def won't hurt there b:pleased
  • You can also increase your genie's mag so it'll regen faster.
  • I can PURGE? b:shocked Maybe you meant purify? b:surrender
  • Well, I personally keep plumeshell up and use defense charms (or dew of star protection) as much as I can. Also, I avoid staying in front of him so, when the random aggro turns to me, I'll know it easier. Not to mention he has a frontal aoe. I try to have an hp charm on or spam potions when he turns towards me (either crab…
  • Then why not use SoR when when your tank has 30-45% hp left, instead of letting their hp drop till 10% and THEN SoR? It also depends on the target's hp.If it's some squishy sin with 5k max hp I won't bother to use SoR. Maybe wellspring>IH>SoR for phy def boost. But if it's a barb with 15k+ max hp and he has 5k hp left then…
  • I only use the 1hr buffs once, at the beginning of the instance when the whole squad is in (or when most of it, if someone is too lazy to come in and the squad got bored waiting for them and started). But sometimes things like this might happen: *After buffing up, the squad reaches boss in 10 minutes.* Me: Ok, I'm ready,…
  • I agree with Allondria. I've seen a lot of clerics using CHB (the aoe heal) when only one person actually needed healing, meaning a wellspring or IH would have been not only better, but would also use less mana.I really don't understand why they preffer to spam this skill that is only useful at a boss that aoes or when…
  • Nah, I don't think any other 8x cleric would've done better with that kind of squad. You did the right thing by leaving. Pff, just quit thinking about it =/
  • Whenever I see someone trying to kill more than 1 mob at a time I have a simple rule in my mind: "Aggro ALL the mobs or GTFO. If not, you aren't getting a single heal." Imo, a level 84 cleric can't really survive a whole bunch of mobs, especially those rogues that deal physical damage, and if 3-4+ of those attack you...I…
  • Using CHB to boost the tank's HP when it's low is pointless because of the high channeling time, and the fact that it also costs a lot of mana. SoR is 10 times better imo, since it not only heals a ton of HP instantly, but it also gives an IH effect (and a pdef boost if demon), which helps a lot. I personally use CHB only…
  • Come on, it's not THAT hard to find a squad...Sure, I see a lot of "LF 4-5APS DDs for pro clericless Nirvana" on wc, but that doesn't mean it's absolutely impossible for a cleric to get a team.
  • I like to sit back, relax and watch out for my squad's butt. (Though sometimes it can be anything BUT relaxing b:chuckle )
  • Why do you need res buff if you get teleported to happy valley if you die anyway? b:sweat Anyways, grats on the run.
  • There's no glitch. From what I heard the only problem having more than -24% would be the fact that your macros won't work too well because of the cooldown time, which can't be changed. I only have -15% right now (planning for a bit more tho) so I can't really tell.
  • I know how it feels, the exact same thing happens to me when I play my veno b:sweat
  • It's not just about charm tick. Even I let quite a few charms tick on different occasions, but I did my best to keep the number of ticks to the minimum. If, as a DD/tank, I wanted to charm-tank something then I might as well not bring a cleric at all.Why not bring another DD to make it faster so the charm ticks less?
  • You don't get any attack/def lvls for leveling. As for stat points, from level 101-105 you'll get 25 stat points. Not sure they make a difference. But if you want to level past 101, go ahead! :P
  • Well, I've seen this kind of clerics, mainly on my veno. It's really annoying when, for example, I catch the harpy so it won't aggro the cleric and instead of healing me, the cleric just DDs, even when I ask as kindly as I can for a few IHs...and then my charm gets killed :/ Or when only one person is being hit and they…
  • I went demon for the spark, revive, IH, stream, purify and plumeshell mostly XD Sometimes people tell me that sage would've been a better choice for me, though I really don't believe that b:surrender I was once in FC and our sin died by accident. He knew I have lvl 11 res, so... Sin: "Lvl 11 res! <3" Veno: "So, are you sage…
  • You pretty much read my mind with that post. b:cute I love being a cleric, even though sometimes it's a hard job and I do mistakes. But I always try to learn from them and get better. :D
  • I have 100 base vit (around 130+ with gear, I'm not logged in so I can't look xD). And I'm doing perfectly fine. That 1300+ hp pretty much makes a difference for me. I can keep a squad alive pretty well, so I'm pretty happy with my build.
  • *buffs Rubblemancer* b:cute b:laugh Well, that's what you get for acting nice to a cleric. b:chuckle Nah, I bet the OP came here for buffs, I KNOW it! >:D
  • *buffs Ununoctium* b:cute
  • Full attack and Full support are just play styles, not builds >.> Anyways, I lol'ed irl at that video XD
  • Can't you just lure the boss out? Either with a Zeal or a veno's pet? b:sweat
  • I believe it's with that buff. It absorbs 20% of the max hp you have at the time you're casting. At least that's what I think :o
