Yes, aps is the number of attacks you deal per second. BMs and Sins can deal up to 5 attacks per second. I'm level 24. I capped my vit at 20 and now I'm using a 7str/3dex build every two levels. I might add more vit or dex at later levels depending on how good my hit/miss rate and damage intake turn out.

They will never replace bms. Seekers don't have that nice AOE stun or dragons for Frost runs and they can't use claws so they will never reach 5 aps.
