There are multiple of reasons for locking weps for the earthguard. The best I can think of is that the devs think that they won't be used to their true potential. Highly doubtful that aps are going to be taken away. So many players today rely on it now, unless theres something better than aps out there which I highly doubt. Let's face it, THE GAME IS ****ED :(
