For PvE charms are really only needed for RB/zhen, and those two are optional. and yes for PvP cost and balance this patch pretty much sucked but for PvE its not to bad.

Basically the patch allows every player who buys gold wether from charging it or by AH the chance to get a Cash shop based OPed weapon that before only veno's could get. Ie: Poor cash shop nix might get 1 hit by cash shop weapon.. and there's me wondering why so many veno's are up in arms b:laugh

The same happens in P2P games ( look how plagued certain popular P2P games are with gold farmers, even though it is illegal) But mostly in P2P you replace " who can thrown down his visa" with " who can spend the most time playing to leveling ".
