They aren't needed for the level 99 culti, which is actually only some bosses in hell (Doable with a cleric by your side) and the FB itself, but they are needed for the forward culti (Culti 100.) to get your 3rd fairy and be able to learn Lv.100 skills :)

Feel like repeating.. I'm using level 11 DB, and can let it open during the whole delta, does not matter because the barb is simply good at keeping aggro. Then again it relies on the barb. With a bad barb I can't do that <.< But the fact that it's level 10 does not explain aggro draw. Your barb just suck at group aggro imo.

If barb is good enough, DB level 10 or 11 does not matter much in GV. I'm using level 11 DB during full GV if I'm lazy, and I still do it uncharmed, because my barb friend is good at his works o.o
