  • I don't get the joke? How is 1500 uncannys and 250 raps in two weeks no-lifeing? That's an average of like 108 uncannies a day? Of course, that's not accounting any merchanting. I did 10 runs a day for two weeks, feel free to call that no-lifeing if you wish, but it totals maybe two hours of farming a day; I guess you must…
  • A wizard in equivalent gear to what I posted has like 9k hp and 10k PDef. Not sure if you're kidding or what's going on there. Regardless, even if Spirit Blackhole doesn't proc, that much HP and PDef is a 4-5 shot, assuming 2/5 are crits. Anyways, I'm done here, apparently I'm going to bombarded by irrelevant questions…
  • I'm starting to get the impression that the people posting here have never played in endgame PvP, no wonder archer is a dying class.
  • Honestly, casters aren't scary. Even at endgame most go down in a few hits. Though, if I find myself in a 1v1 vs a caster I have a MDef cube neck too, so I just switch; despite it not making much of a difference.
  • For versatility/ if you want to have fun on the character? I'd go full R9, that build is useless for anything other than not dying. At least as full R9 you can have some fun RPKing, etc. Personally, my account has three heavy chars on it, so I went full second cast Nirvana, but if you're focusing on one char, R9 is the way…
  • Took me 2 weeks farm my 7 pieces of second cast gear and +5 it. +7 axes took me another day. In the 4 weeks my barb has been 100 I farmed him +10 axes and +7 armor. Sure, they're farming to refine their gear. At the pace I see these people going? I'd be amazed if they were ever competitive.
  • Sure. Whatever helps you justify your ignorance to yourself.
  • If this is what you honestly think, then I'm done. Congratulations, I officially don't care enough to explain to you why you're wrong.
  • http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/25918 Grade 15.
  • Go do the math, 2% PDef reduction is a lot more than 100 def gives you.
  • That was my point; I've seen a lot of archers with Matchless wings and a second cast helm, and it's simply a waste.
  • Cata Barb Since PWCalc hasn't been updated I can't put on a R8 recast hammer with 20 def lvl/ 5 def lvl/ 5 def lvl/ 5def lvl, but that's the best build.
  • If by reliable adds you mean really good adds (Save APS on legs/ wrists) then I agree. All the pieces add 10 vit, 10 str or 180 hp. R8 recast would take more than it costs to buy R9 in mats to recast to get a full set of comparable gear; And even then? The set mods aren't very good, at least Nirvana set mods are useable.…
  • It's not a disadvantage, simply a difference of skill sets. Honestly, if you're low level grinding/ doing BH's you'll have an easier time tanking in tiger form; however, for AoE grinding/ Frost, you have more high damage AoE skills in standing. The decrease in damage is to your base attack only, if you're sage since there…
  • So, who was Longknife before he rerolled Psy?
  • Blade Master - Merkaba Wizard - Intangible Venomancer - Allera Barbarian - MilliSievert Cleric - Shaye Archer - Lidell Assassin - Notion Psychic - Doesn't exist Seeker - Precept Mystic - BrokenHero ^-- The best of every class; pro tip, they're all me.
  • I'll take Blood Paint over either, they both complain and feel they're more necessary than they really are. Barb + BP = **** Clerics/Mystics ^-- This equation doesn't work out if you're not rocking lvl 11 skills and the intelligence to know when to use what.
  • Yooooou know what I mean. I'm talking about the people that don't play with any sort of defensive strategy because they're too used to just oneshotting people, or think they're too tanky to ever die.
  • You're doing exactly what you told him he shouldn't be doing.
  • Set up a shop buying G7 ambers for 10k a piece in Raging Tide, 750x10000 = 7.5m for a G11 amber in your wep. I suggest at least place holder gems in the other half of your armor. Regarding the demon r sux argument that went on before: My barb, with bloodbath on, has 3.4k accuracy. I don't miss very often, so that 35% crit…
  • I'm not explaining how to merchant to you. If you want to sit there and pretend it's not a feasible method for attaining full R9 then feel free to complain and never get anywhere.
  • I was pointing out an exception anyone can do, not trying to belittle the effort needed to get it. Toliman: If I ever manage to translate that long thread of hardly comprehensible bull **** you posted, I'll respond to it. From what it looks like, however, you don't understand the basic theory of supply and demand.…
  • Exception 1: Merchant, start small and build up. R9 is easily merchantable within a few months.
  • Well, if you're being fair about it, what is HardToThink's gear? HH99, some Nirvana, etc? +7/+10 wep? That's pretty standard, most the competitive server has that. If they were full +10/+12 R9 and died to anything they didn't one-two shot it'd be different.
  • There edited out people who quit/ are largely inactive. Secondly, I'd like to make the point that (With the exception of HardToThink, lol?) you largely just named cash shoppers who 100% rely on gear. Edit: Never heard of ThisIsMyAlt/ PoohBear before, never even seen them before. Are they from another server or something?
  • Not only does it say that glitch abusing is okay, it also says that they will renege on a punishment if you complain about it enough. Something that they prove time and time again when they lift a perma-ban because someone promises to charge, or has charged, etc.
  • As far as I've seen Lost City has a large pool of active low level players. It's not uncommon to see someone world chatting for more for BH39-79. Most servers are likely that way though.
  • On the ROTFA private server there's a PK tournament. Every man for himself, top 10 get prizes, etc. Even if the prizes were **** on PWI it'd still be fun. They run it once every 4-5hours so it keeps people entertained. Good idea, if it was adapted here it might breathe some life back into the PvP scene.
