  • I've been gone for 6 months and PVP dead now? I don't believe it. What happened to Silver Pool? That was the best. Sht. I might have to come back and get R9 just for PVP.
  • PVP never dies. Dat de game of games. Splut up pleese.
  • Huh? New content? I dunno. I might log on just to take a look.
  • Or, they are bored housewives, acting like they are males playing female toons. I know for a fact at least one famous wiz fits this type.
  • He don't know what to expect.
  • Wizards rule but its not easy or everybody would be a wizard. Gotta have brains or money. Now if you have both, then... well.
  • Max out mountain sieze and blade tempest in that order for frost. Keep a Cloud Eruption genie along with Holy Path and frenzy and keep stone barrier on for frost.
  • Really so true. I never see R9 playing with old NV gear. Lol. But, i guess its possible.
  • And of course there is the R8 recast adds that aren't being talked about. Not sure how a well recasted r8 wep compare to r9 wep. But its an interesting alternative.
  • Just remember going R9 is very cool, but it also effectively puts u at the end of your character's life. You will never again get to legitimately compete with the majority of chars in PWI. Your only competition will be other R9s and maybe a very few skilled R8s. For the rest, its a no contest slaughter that requires no…
  • Archer (long range attk)/sin (stealth) is wizzie's worst nightmare. The rest are game, all other things assumed equal. Its true Morai skills help wizzie against sin tho. I still say BM the most well rounded class against everybody. But, at the top of the heap I'd put the giant barb. There's just a point when the barb…
  • +10 R8 sword is the standard for battle wep for end game wiz. Anything more powerful than that is a luxury (and greatly desired). So I would focus on other gear first because your wep is all u need at a minimum. And, not sure how the math works out r8 wep v r9 wep. I suppose against other R9 who have great number of…
  • Probably ought to sticky this.
  • Chinatown summer 2011 was great (Calvin/Almon). I will never forget that band of outlaws. Only one rule: don't gank your guildies. That the only rule. And, if u violated that rule...Almon give u a good finger shaking. And back then, farming was "farming". lol
  • Agreed. The game quite healthy i think. But again, the best solution for justice is to make level 106 dropdead for a temporary period of time...like 6 months (with or without reinstating the glitch). That would allow the non cheaters an opportunity to catch up with the others.
  • Lost my glasses. Anybody see my glasses? And, as a wizard I say: Drop dead lvl 106 with a big visually exciting explosion. Be nice to look out over Silver Pool and see fireworks knowing another biggun has left forever. :) edit: the fireworks should spell the person's name in the sky then "RIP". Can see alot going off…
  • ohh geeez. Lets leave the lawyers out of it, ok? Ruin a perfectly entertaining rage thread with amature bs legalize. I know..Let the wizards take care of it! lol
  • how's that mysto caster working out?
  • Sandstorm one of my very favorite skills...even in end game. Great power and a visually dramatic finisher. Excellent for use in a sutra combo such as sutra>SS>spark>DevPyro which usually ends the argument with anything not R9. Dont even care about the accuracy effects which are just frosting on the cake. Criticized because…
  • Well, perma banning all 105s is not the answer. lol Why dont they just make lvl 106 a drop dead setting? Kinda like Logan's Run, when hit 106you blow up in a magnificent visually orgasmic way with a chance to say goodbye to all your friends that attend the ceremony. Be hysterical to look out over Archosaur and see these…
  • I chided them after the fact. Gave em a good finger shaking. But, on to more important points made above. It seems to me that the R9 availability was a conscious effort to extend the end game of the profligate cashoppers. Purely an income motivated move. But, the caster NV, APS nerf (so called), the R8 recast, and morai,…
  • I think the point was that by letting the glitch exist for as long as it did, some responsibility resides with PWI. In this regard, the temporary ban was eminently fair. I knew some players that thought the glitch was legal because everybody was doing it for so long (except me). I saw one player lay an undined frenzied MS…
  • Agree. Emberstorm not good against that much hp...hurt yourself. U use undine before FOW alot. Nice use of blink and slow skills. Interesting u finished him with devine pyro. Against barbs I usually find they are susceptible to one of the elements, never sure which one until I try em all. Overall ... nice vid. Tks!
  • Worth repeating cause in PWI we are ageless.
  • And nobody talking about life and spatial reversion. lol Comes in handy let me tell u. Agree, the wizards finally got a lift here with this expansion.
  • I noticed some mention of a purify skill/attribute/add-on/? in that thread. Evidently, there's confusion on it all. But, if it's true that we could get a non-genie purify ability, it most surely would help the wizard. ijs (cause ele shell is no real purify ability and we all know that)
  • Well the sins on other forums are expressing different views about that. But, the question was how it might effect wizards. And, on a related note, why did the dev's do it (beside money, of course)? The only thing I can think of is to break it open at the top and give chars some ability to be unique. If it works out that…
  • undine>[spark>DevPyro-6secImmunPot]>[frenzy>BT] a love letter to all of em
  • How did TriForce's 'Wadzio Extermination Service' get turned around into a Master Plan to Exterminate TriForce? Amazing. anyway this a funny thread...everybody have fun...nobody is garbage if they're trying :)
