yes, no use in keeping stuff you never use in inventory/safe. often i've found players that have them in catshop, for a bit more than the npc pays you. you could try that ;)

you need to talk to two different ppl: the venomancer trainer and the pet skill trainer. I believe you learn tame at the pet skill trainer

Wait untill 79 would be the best idea, if for nothing else to complete your cultivation quest (wich is kill Linus and then dig in the platform where Linus and the Brig are in). You should have 3 tabs by the time you are level 79, the last one being obtained by killing hooly and styg.
