I had figured thats what it was. Thing is I don't have the funds to buy a new computer so a new chip would be a better option and I'm not sure what the exact chip that I would have to buy that would work. That's what happens when I take a computer made by my dad I suppose.

So far no one working here has told us a god damn thing except to install this, install that, download this manual patch... So far I've done all this and none has helped. I'm reinstalling right now and if it doesn't work then say bye bye to pwi for me.

I believe that this thread is valid.. because in a sense, not only will the people who can't play the game not play anymore, but friends of those people in the game will likely quit, as well.. My boyfriend had even told me if I'm not able to play anymore we'll take our business elsewhere since pwi can't accomodate the game…

My boyfriend is sitting here playing on it right now and he had NO problems getting in and I have every thing he has in order to get in. STILL not working.

I've had just about enough of this BS, I get to the Game Update complete, click start, error screens flash, nothing happens. I've installed all this BS you've told us to install, still not working. Get your ***** in gear pl0x and fix this.

I have windows xp, downloaded the directx 9 and I'm verifying right now. Hopefully it works. If it does I'll post here how I got it to work.

People I've been trying to get mine to work for about 15 hours now, still no luck still waiting for it to finish verifying which may take another 2 hours. If it doesn't work then PW can kiss my business goodbye.

I really do hope they extend some of the 2x.. because there were things that I was wanting to do. And does anyone know if it's possible to not have to verify and just download the C++ and see if all goes well? Because I've been verifying for almost 2 hours now and it's barely a quarter ways done.

And right now it's taking forever in a day to verify everything so now I'm waiting on that.. and if that doesn't work I'm just going to rage quit and wait til they can get their butts in gear and fix this themselves instead of doing a bootleg job beforehand which causes people to have problems.

I used internet explorer to download it instead and I restarted my computer several times before it worked.

Okay now I have directx downloaded and it's still telling me Enter Game Failed. This is starting to get highly irritating...b:angry

Okay now it's letting me download DirectX 9.0 but it's stuck at 2 bars at Copying Files. Now I don't even know if it's going to actually install.

I'm not going to be happy if I'm not able to play, because I have an old Windows XP with Service Pack 3 and it won't let me download the latest DirectX version because it says it's 'not compatible' with the windows XP logo. I'm not sure what that means but this will surely ruin the game for me if i can't play.

I didn't think of any of these, most times I pull out my salv and do it that way; but these are good answers. My problem also is getting jumped by 2-3 sins at a time and being stunned if theres only one, which I understand may not be solvable lol...
