It's a really bad idea to have same DPS as a barb just for ~1k hp. There's not a single thing a vit axe bm from the dark ages of lyndura's guide can do and a low vit axe/fist bm can't. PvE is ridiculously easy, you can do delta and fc with 5 base vit. And good luck killing anyone with decent gear without any 1vs1 weapon.…

Actually it's the best way to go unless you're unable to do some elementary school math. Of course you don't just dump all the dex bonus from your gear into vit (your friends don't sound too bright), you have to plan ahead and decide at least some of the gear you will get, set a lowest point for dex bonuses, etc.

Look, this is getting tiring already. There's no such distinction as pure axe or pure fist, they fall under the same category - newbies. BMs with only one weapon are as incomplete as full attack clerics, barbs with no tiger form skills, etc.

Polearms are mainly useful for Meteor Rush and Farstrike. Meteor Rush for knocking back mobs (mostly used in RB) and Farstrike for gunning down runners in PvP. Swords are only useful for MSS and the situations when switching to sword and using MSS is appropriate are rare. As it has been said a million times - Fists have best DPS, Axes have best AoEs. Any BM nearing end-game without both Fists and Axes is as incomplete as a barb without tiger form skills.

There's too many wrong things to start naming them, you seem to not even know why people use fists with that attack rate. Are you aware that the weapon alone is 10+ billion coins ? That's about 25 000 $ or several years of merchanting.

I see QQs like this every time i read the forum from people who expect to get rich from hacking a TT boss or grinding all day. If everyone can do what you do then you'll never be above average, same as in real life.

Gorenox all the way. With zerk fists you hurt yourself pretty bad and it doesn't even have better DPS if you think about the -0.05/s and chance to increase attack. Gorenox also has a bit better base attack and gains more attack per refine. There's really no question about it.

This would only be true if everyone got their coins by grinding. Most people don't, even during 2x events rarely seen anyone grind and prices didn't go up.

I don't see other classes whine about getting same HP per refine as barbs so what's the point of this thread? You want all barbs to stick to Axes? OK then ask for Fist/Claw to be class restricted like Daggers, Xbows, Slingshots..
