Ok. Thanks for the replies. I have a forest hornet that started at lvl 25, I may go back and grab the sawfly and just level it up.

I'm curious, as I've not had to do it. Can you level your lvl 8 sawfly on low level mobs (progress to higher mobs as your pet progresses)? Or do you have to kill mobs that are close or equal to your veno's level to gain adequate experience?

I think the first couple starter quests that do offer armor are either HA or Robe, but you'll start getting quests that will offer a certain peice with the three different armor types. I tailor mine and there are plenty of LA drops as well. I wouldn't buy from the tailor though, that's a waste of money. I'm a noob, so take…
