Are you talking about the lv. 30 wings you get from quest? If so, I don't know about you, but my Mystic's doesn't have a time limit.

Could be your settings. Press hot key 'U' in-game. Go to the UI tab, and be sure the customizations option is checked. Most people appear bald as a default look to make the game run a bit more smoothly.
