I'm quite the beginner wizard myself, but, I got a Longevity for its initial skill(Ethereal Fist: Reduces elemental resistance by 30% for four seconds). Then again, it seems like Zeal is more of an ideal choice.

About the 19 or 20 suggestion, I strongly suggest the Trial Wand over Supply Box. Add two extra damage gems and it easily over powers Military Sword. DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE.
