The decrease HP is less than Sharpened Tooth Arrow, so you'd still want a bow for that effect. Also, what's not to want is the lack of damage, as you're sticking to as little STR as needed to wear them. In this case hybrid means good at neither. What's the point of a map reset with 1 big faction ruling the current one? It just seems like other factions want this to spite the land owning ones out of their well deserved profit. They'll take it all again anyway if nothing changes faction-wise on the servers.
