Another bit of junk is the gold foil you get from random nanmuwood chests scattered about the world. There's one on the hill south of Timberfield, and another near Wellspring, I believe. I've gotten low-level shards as well as gold foil from these chests, but I've read that you can also get decent low-level equips from it…

Right. Just like if you used the new Tokens to get a second supply stash now: if you got a new one, it'd be a level 5 supply stash and you'd have to continue opening it repeatedly until you reached your own level.
