Personally...I would say join Sanctuary :). We have fun-to-read drama in chat and Heaven's Tear barely even knew what tomes were when nearly every 60+ in Sanct already had one >_>. Plus in Sanct, you don't get jumped as soon as you jump out of a safe zone :O.

In a duel...it all depends. Do you run when a BM does spark? Do you run when the barb does his super skill? Does Aeolian Blade stun or not stun? Is it a sword BM? I did some research in the database and a bunch of items called Secret popped up (they were all the same and had the same icon), apparently for a quest, and it's supposed to give nothing o.o.

Even if you're white name in a town dueling a blue name, you should not die since the duel would not allow your hp to go below 1. Let's say a mage had 2 hp and a BM used advanced spark and hit for 1000, he should not die. Must have been a bug.

Coppers are generally 20-25k, silvers 200-250k (although they are going up, at least in Sanctuary), golds are rather rare to see for sale but I usually see them for 500kish.
