You could always crop the image, as Spoons said that that is allowed. "Images should not be edited in any way, the exception to this is the "Crop" tool." But I think the lines make it look pretty.. I dunno, epic? o.O <---Single QQ

You'll still get sparkles from mixing your shards as long as they are immacs. The two sparkle trails around your wrists will be different colours, though.
