Most of the players including me did the same thing. I didnt farm nirvana but its not so hard to do. By endgame gear, I mean r9 recast +12 etc... I guess they are pretty hard to farm without csing.

Endgame gear means the best gear you can get suitable for your class and build regardless of pvp or pve. Let alone morai gear, even r8 is not accepted as an engame gear.

Spiders at avalance canyon with my main, rhinodrakes at arch west with my lvl 21 and 22 alts. I mainly miss hay drops tho. but nearly all mobs, even the ones I quest on have definitely lesser drop rates now.
