Liar! I logged on and I got booted! However, I did get to talk to my faction-mates for approximately twelve seconds before I got disconnected. At least my things were still there and my character wasn't deleted.

For me, all of the catshops in West Arch were gone, completely obliterated. The NPCs in that area were gone as well, and my faction also survived.
