Just a slight correction; It IS possible to complete your FB quests without having a tab(i.e. the boss quests). The tab is what gives you the high exp, spirit, reputation, and blood from the boss fight. Just don't expect help from the majority of higher levels if you've lost your tab somehow, as they tend to go solely for…

You can get married, but it costs $30 per person for the marriage packs in the Cash Shop.

Kinda, but they did the same thing with the fashion. Doubt it matters either way to them.
