Just switch to metal mode for the 2 debuffs then turn normal again. I can't think any other reason to remain in MM as you got less hp and can't heal. It's a lame skill but lets wait and see how it turns out

I guess it means 20-40% of any heals done on the target, heals you too e.g. target gets 10K heal you'll also get a 4K heal. I doubt it raises your max HP.
