i know for me as a blademaster, the rank items are great to have. well worth the 30k for all 3. The fb29 rewards have similar stats, slighly better, so maybe do fb29 first with a party and then come back and choose if you still need the rewards. the rank ring is pretty decent too.

i heard its a problem with PWI that you are unable to farm low lvl mats from mobs when your level is way above them. I personally think this is a game design flaw that needs to be fixed. They shouldn't have to force you to trade or buy the mats from the cash shop.

i collected dews of herbs from antelope pups myself.

this game tends to push you into squads, especially for some quests. i rest after a few kills too at my level. i run around whatever equipment i buy from the npc, as loot, or as a quest reward. i hesitate to buy items now because pretty soon I have to sell it right back which is a hassle for me to do.

Ive seen a quest where you have to reach an item before time runs out but not the npc.

if they do make offline shops, it will probably be a premium option (like pay for it)
