Well at my lowly level the options were more limited. I could either add strength and wear a helmet granting a small HP increase or go arcane. I enjoy having the extra MP and I don't really see the benefit of having few more HP with my play style.

I just went Arcane with my archer. I bought a Hood of Feather and Scale at auction with an unidentified bonus. I got the item identfied and it was a +70 MP bonus! That makes it +135 MP total which has really cut down on my potion usage.

That's one thing I don't like about this game. You more or less have to build your character a certain way to be successful. For instance my first character was a BM. I liked using the skills so I added a bunch of points to my magic ability. I later came to realize this more or less gimped my BM. Why can't a magic adept…

I'm glad to see you like the Frost Arrow too Annor. I think it's great but the other guide doesn't favor it as strongly. Per sacchin it's "Priority: 3 - Good skill to have, best PvE opener in the lower levels, but not necessary to have it maxed later on unless you choose Sage path."
