Pretty sure that the premise of that post was that the reason for the hoarding and abusing of the glitch is because of the history of PWI's actions. Things (good things) tend to be nerfed very, very fast. PWI promotes the mentality that people should hoard what they can before PWI takes it away from them. PWI promotes…

Sounds like about the same when I left. Minus the frost glitch and the new packs. Was TT ever revamped? I seem to vaguely recall that the 3-x TT's were changed so that the bosses were much harder and TT90+ gear became increasingly difficult for average-geared people to farm - average being TT90 with +3 refines (poor BM).

I like how you've chosen colours that complement your render. Not that I'm pro or anything, but if I may, you may want to consider expanding to backgrounds that have a little bit more substance to them. Say a stock photo that might mix well with your render. Also, adding depth to the signature, playing around with the…

If I pay tax, it's most likely for government revenues so they can provide public services. That, is what I'm receiving as a tax payer for my money. When you pay a tax on your AH sale, or on your gold trade, that money disappears and is never recirculated or used again. When I pay for a good or service, I pay a fee. Not a…

Who TW is for depends on the player composition of your server. Clearly, PWI isn't PW-EU. TW here is for every faction to participate in. But to be competitive, be it bidding-wise or fighting-wise, you have to be ready to pitch in the amount of effort/money that they do. There's no handicap or charity for smaller factions.

Like Asterelle and WarrenWolfy (and many others) said, if you believe the rapture could be sold for more, why not do so? Instead of complaining on the forums about a perceived injustice, you should be buying up the rapture and reselling it at a profit. It makes absolutely no sense if you, at the point of sales, are be able…
-
Then there's one of two things you can do: 1. Sell the rapture as a squad for the going market price. This shouldn't be difficult at all since you said prices are consistent and stable. 2. Buy the rapture yourself, put in the effort and sell it for a higher price. Just don't complain 2 hours later if you can't sell it :)
-
The sentiment here is, what happens after your transaction with your squadmate is hypothetical. When you sell your rapture after the Nirvana run, you are selling it for a price you are willing to accept - fair value. What happens after this transaction has no bearing on the validity of your transaction, because given the…

So someone banks it, sells it for 1.8 and then mails everyone the money. Your comparison doesn't make sense because you're taking the cost of a good and comparing it to the retail value. Of course the retail value is going to be higher. What the person sells it for is an arbitrary number determined by economic events,…

So why would you sell it to him at a catshop buy price (1.5) when you could sell it for catshop sell price (1.8)?
-
Person 6 has no coin until he sells his rapture. He pays: 1.25m Gets a rapture Currently he has: -1,250,000 coins +1 rapture 1 hour later he sells a rapture to somebody for 1,500,000 coins. His gross profit from the whole operation is: 1,500,000 (1,250,000) 250,000 You're assuming his 250,000 he took was a positive cash…

Assume catshop prices of raptures are 1.5m. Assume 6 member squad. Assume you sell to catshop. 1,500,000/6 = 250,000 coins each. Now assume a member decides to buy it for 1.65m 1.65m / 6 people = 275,000 coins each Squad member 1 pays everyone 275,000 coins. Gross profit of each member: Member 2: 275,000 coins Member 3:…

Because coming out of stealth and one-shotting somebody who had no chance to retaliate at all, is so not OP. Nor is hitting the force stealth button to escape decimation (and gain a spark) should said surprise attack fail. Not at all.
-
Tell me why my argument is stupid. Running to safezone is equivalent to forcing stealth? Tell me how that works. Please. I beg of you. No, I'm telling you that if you pull off a hit that should have oneshotted them, all it'll do is tick their charm. Which they can then force stealth and start from scratch. I didn't say…

1. Nobody cares about undergeared sins, just like how nobody cares about undergeared anything else. If you're undergeared, chances are you're non-factor, and you don't matter. Kind of like me. We're talking about people who do matter here. Like, well-geared wizards, well-geared BMs, and of course, well-geared sins. 2. You…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxJa7dGyT3E Sin wasn't using stealth.

Too obvious sir.

First of all, classifying a pure LA fist BM as a self-imposed challenge, hard-mode character is purely hypothetical. OdessaWolf did not say so herself, nor did she imply it in any sense or way. When I had shared my opinions before, she simply called me another "fist-axe drone" and in her post here, called everyone who…
-
To call it a self-imposed challenge is one thing. To claim that it is not fail, is another. While fail might be a bit harsh, it is in essence, and in harsh reality, true. That's like playing basketball with lay-ups only. That's like playing american football with kicks only. That's like playing a cleric with no heals.…

Why not use farstrike, or a crappy bow?

I think you're missing the point of this thread. Every class's PVP ability differs. That's a fact. The opinion comes in when deciding which class is better at PVP and which class is worse. Saying the best PVPer is dependent on their skill is a little idealistic. It is vastly dependent on their gear and their class as well.
-
I don't mean to be rude, but by using purely fist or purely sword, or purely anything for that matter, isn't being unique. I have the same set of sword skills as you that I use when I need to. I have the same set of fist skills as you that I use when I need to. You might differentiate yourself in build, but skills wise, I…

So if your whole premise is based on quick stealthy kills and escaping before anyone noticing, why do you still escape when we're right in front of your face attacking you? If your initial attack has failed, I fail to see why sins should have a panic button that lets them get away scot free. This is after you start with…
-
You don't have to care about what we think, but you should at least take into consideration some of his points. BMs have 4 weapon paths for a reason, each one suited for different situations and uses. By restraining yourself to only fists, you're limiting the potential of your BM. It's like having 2 arms and 2 legs, but…

You could kite their triple spark.

Real men do it without hyper stones. Don't be a noob. Don't take the easy way out.
-
I thought hyper stones were for noobs who only wanted it the easy way.
-
What's your definition of no cash? If you mean basic TT90 gears, TT90 gold axe, +3-5 refines, I don't think BMs fare that well.
-
Kitamura's also never spent a dime on this game.

Sellers don't control prices. Not in this market anyway.
