I've also had this happen several times. I go to farm a mat in a seemingly empty area of ground. Half way through mining it five mobs just appear out of nowhere and interrupt my mining. Lvl 94 16 active. 4 of which are daily quests and 3 are BHs. Others include lunar, warsong, harpy wraith >_<, 3 grind quests, and a chrono quest. 2 Quests are available but one npc doesn't exist (gray haired man) and the other npc i can't even reach since I can't get into Valley of the Scarred. I just logged on so my list…

It does need to be killed solo. Just did it by myself with an unsquaded cleric healing. No other DDs helped out and got the chrono core when it died.

Thanks, this is exactly what I was hoping to hear ^^ You don't have to tab both at the same time. For the last two bosses, the pillars are directly next to each other and there's quite a few mobs in the room that the pillars are in. I think my squad wanted me to tab both pillars so I wouldn't have to go back into the room…
