yes, it's 100% possible to kill mobs before they get to you. It depends on your built: stats and feats. Usually, I kill mobs of my level before they can even touch me. Edit: BTW i only use level 1 ammo (arrows mainly coz i love to use bows XD)

I think that there're 3 PvP modes in Sanctuary: - PK (meaning that you enable the pk switch allowing characters to attack you) - TW - Duels Beside those, I don't think there's more PvP modes.
