Thanks Magic_Limey, but I've moved over to Heaven's Tear and have joined a mature and friendly guild there.
-
Thanks! good luck to you alsob:pleased Still looking for mature and friendly guild on Sanctuaryb:thanks
-
Like you Kalador, i'm over 30 and in similar circumstances, I would like to join a Friendly and Mature Guild also, I am quietly leveling up (presently lvl10) and have previous experience (lvl70 hunter) in wow.

8/10 I gave it 10 for sounding Grand, but I took 2 off for age (Grandpa), sorryb:laugh

87 I don't know, but where I come from (Wales), it would be called following blindly like a sheep.

I sure hope Not! Lets leave the politics of same sex issues etc. in the messed up real world thanks!, not in a fantasy game This whole thread is just full of sexist comments, and it's supposed to be a suggestion box forum, why not discuss things like this in the Off Topic Forumb:thanks
-
I have to agree with you momz, I've spent quite a few hours reading these forums in the last week, certainly more time than i've spent in game. I've played other mmorpg's including wow (level 70), there is a tremendous amout to be learned when starting off. You will pick up little bits in game by asking other players…

Thank you for the sticky b:pleased
-
I quite agree, I think it would be nice if there was one thread like this one as a Sticky! at the top of the forum for newbie Archers.b:thanks

I've made a suggestion in the 'Suggestion Box' forum for those people who are not sure where to introduce themselves, entitled 'Forum Suggestion? - Introduction Forum'. On other forums where they have a specific 'Introduction' Forum, everyone knows instantly where they can introduce themselves and it seems to work quite…

I played World of Warcraft for about 12 months, I just got a bit bored with it after being level 70 for a few months. I'll probably play on it again sometime, I'm not going to pay a monthly fee for any game, unless I'm absolutely sure I will be spending a lot of time in-game that month.

I answered yes but I don't think there would be enough people interested at present. But if the games popularity continues to grow they will need new servers in the future, RP does seem popular enough to warrant it's own server, but with only 3 severs in PW at present I think it will be some time before they will consider…

lol. I came here to Escape from Rune b:laugh I see nothing wrong with the cooking skill (which is in a lot of MMO's, not just RS) for those who like it. It's not my cup of tea, it's very time consuming when you could be doing other things. But if you like cooking why not, I would be happy so long as you can have the choice…

I used to play on a PvP server on wow, I enjoyed the thrill and excitement of never knowing when I was going to get attacked by another player. It made it difficult to complete a lot of my quests as high level players from the other faction camp a lot of the quest locations. But when I levelled up I got my own back which…

Also because you can't effectively attack with a ranged weapon, like a bow and arrow when the enemy is standing right in front of you, so you need to stop attacking so that you can put some distance between you and the target.

Hello, although i've only just started playing PW, I have some experience of Archery/Hunting in a similar game. My best tip for newcomers to archery is to learn how to 'Kite', it will take some practise and trial and error, but is an essential skill for Archers. What is 'Kite' or 'Kiting' ? Kiting is basically attacking…
-
Kiting is probably the most important skill you need to master in Archery, but also very hard to achieve without stunning/slowing the enemy. It looks a bit silly (plus you take a lot of damage) when the enemy is on top of you and your still shooting at it with a bow and arrow.b:chuckle

Thanks very much, I guessed it might be PST (Pacific Standard Time) or GMT-8, I just wasn't sure. Alrydian (aka radar1)

Sounds like a nice idea, but as foddermike says this is a game where I come for a break from reality, i'm a husband and father in real life. Please think of all the problems a baby would pose on the game, not to mention crying babies, nappy changing, post natal depression. You might as well go all the way and have Social…
