My lunar bow rarely debuffs in pvp, nearly useless in pve. Only thing I like is the aoe purging in barrage, which has a significantly higher chance to purge. Either skill is fine for PVE, nearly useless in PVP (unless in TW and you have a squishy targeted). I agree with this too...if only the slingshot didn't look so lame I'd use it. I love my crit..but that crit % never seems to happen when I want it. I put the tiger gem (+1 attack lvl) in my lunar bow...honestly I'm pretty sure its a waste of my 1 socket. 1% added attack just doesn't make much of a difference. If I crit 20,000 its only 200 extra damage. I am curious what effect, if any, I would have with two gems.

Correct about this. It is theoretically possible to alter the packets being sent from the client to server. However the packets are highly encrypted and would be easily detected. Don't you think if it was so easy to alter data being sent to the server we would see gold duping? Prices in AH can confirm this isn't happening.
