[Maintenance 12/30]

OK The question is:

What are your goals/plans going forward into the new year, regarding PWI?

I have to preface this with, I am not generally a negative person, nor do I complain about things very often.

1.) My priority for the game this year is to first attempt to tell you and anyone else who will listen,
that with the amount of coin you get from drops now, you can not even pay your repair bill. I had heard right before maintenance 12/16 that ALL DQ was going to 1 coin. Needless to say I did not have time to go to all my characters and accounts to NPC this.

I did NOT know that ALL drops such as armor, weapons, rings, belts, necklaces, etc. would be greatly reduced as well. I had millions of coins tied up in banks and inventories of different armor, weapon, etc. drops that I use to purchase gear, and other things needed for my characters and for repair bills, and was currently saving up for some TT99 items. Now, things that used to NPC for 40K+ is NPC for just hundreds of coin. I literally lost millions of coin because of this.

When I just go and do daily quests now, the drops I pick up from them do not even pay my repair bills and I am losing more and more coin every day. At this rate, I will not be able to play much longer.

2.) I did have some nice goals all ready to go prior to the update on 12/16. I had gotten my cleric to lvl 104 and was going to make 2015 the year I hit 105 for the first time on any of my characters. I had goals to RA my first toons in 2015. My BM and Sin had hit lvl 100 and I wanted to finish my culti and then RA both of them. My barb had gotten to lvl 98, my veno to lvl 97, and my psychic to lvl 92. My intentions for 2015 were to get all of those toons to lvl 100, finish their culti, and RA them all. Now, I am not sure how much longer I will even play the game and that saddens me so much.

I absolutely LOVE playing the game and in June I will have been playing for 6 years. I have so many different accounts with many, many different characters and I loved to start new characters and play them as well. Last count I had somewhere around 76 different characters and played probably somewhere around 60 of them. I had recently attempted to stop playing so many of them to concentrate on getting my main and a few of the higher level ones up to 100 so that I could RA some. I have yet to get any of mine RA due to some personal goals I set for myself.

3.) I have always prided myself in playing what I call "Old School" in which I never did the glitches in FF to level up, did not hyper FF, or any of the other cheats as I call them to level up. I have just did my quests and grind to get where I am today. I had planned to continue with this as I totally believe that you really learn your character if you play that way.

So, I guess plans change. My only plan now will be how to make some money to pay repair bills, still be able to get the next set of gear needed for my characters, etc.

Oh and I had gotten my main with full R9 S2 and was going to work on S3 for my weapon and belt, but I think now I should just scrap any plans like that due to I am not pouring any more of my hard earned cash into the game. Since I started playing 5 1/2 years ago, I have spent over $17,000 on all my different accounts, most all of that on my main account, (which this is not). Some of you I know are saying, "Oh bullsh--" on the amount I spent, but as God as my witness, I swear to you I really have done this. I know it is stupid that I did it, but it is my hobby and I am disabled now and unable to get out and do much outside my home now. This is all I had to do besides making jewelry which is my other hobby.

In closing... Please make the coin drop rate on items back to what it was OR I myself as well as a number of other people I have talked to will be forced to leave the game due to no coin to repair our gear or get new gear for characters. Thank you.

Oh, one other thing... This particular account, I can not log into ARC on now because I did not get the ARC defender disabled quick enough and I don't have access to the E-mail I used to make the account anymore. The only computers I ever used to sign on to the game on that account is this one which I always use too, but for some reason the ARC Defender thinks I signed on to the account with some other computer, so I can not get Jones blessings, or get signed on to ARC for this account now. Sure does suck. I sent in a ticket about it and sent a report from the E-mail company proving that the account could not be accessed any longer and still got no where...

Most likely I'll just focus on helping the faction mates and will continue posting in tech support to try to fill in where PWE's support completely fails.

WTF?! Seriously!!! Gold prices and Prices for Pack-Items are finally going down again. The economy is recovering even faster than expected. I even managed to buy some golds at 2m straight on my server...this is amazing!

Might sound rude, but idc: People like you that only relied on Botting/Auto-Culti are a waste of space. The people that only botted their coins have never done any contribution to the economy. You could also call them leeches. No one likes/need leeches.

So either move your lazy butt and farm some TT/Lunar/Warsong and you will be just fine. If you can't figure out how too or if you don't know how (and any new player can farm atm with free lvl100) then Cash. If you can't do both which would pretty much mean you can't play the game to begin with -> get lost and never come back. In that case you are unwanted in this community.

A little example for all those complainers. I'm a farmer. So here goes my income and how it's influenced by the recent change and future changes.

Illusion Stone (I sell them since many years now at ~16m each):

Gold Price:

3,999,900 -> ~4 Gold for me each Stone
2.000.000 -> ~8 Gold for me each Stone
1.000.000 -> ~16 Gold for me each Stone

As the gold prices go down any farmer earns way way more money again as you can see. At 2m each gold we can finally say that farming TT is worthwhile again. Nothing really changes for cashers as they only need low amounts of said mats (in most cases) and rank gears have fixed goldprices. The only thing that really gets more expensive are the fees at the NW forge...but cmon...100m is nothing anyways.

All in all to all those autoculti-relying people: Get lost, no one needs you. Not at all. Economy has always only suffered with you around and there is no denying that.

how do they "turn off" a quest in game? think about that for a second and youll see they do same thing for preventing people from logging while theyre finishing maint

likely the server is up and theyre checking a few things and dont want players logging in yet

I dont know about the rest of you but im Glad!!! to see that the drop prices was lowered for 1 awesome reason. Gold prices are finaly dropping meaning all the items will be dropping in price so that people that farm can actainly finish getting geared up not have to farm 4x the amount for the same item anymore.b:dirty

It really isnt that simple. More supply = less for coins for stone, harder to obtain coins = less coins for stone. You will be getting less and less per stone unless your server has complete lack of TT farmers. New classes and pills did/do create a spike in TT mat demand, which will help keep prices up.
