There is a person on Raging Tide pming many people trying to convince them to go to what is obviously another phishing scam site. Something about having unlimited merchants or something. Would be nice if a great GM could get on and take care of it.

    I have a ss of it. I took it earlier today. Every time you enter where tuju is, you get the whisper.

    The same happened at Santuary server :/

    When I reach west archo area , that toon lvl 1 keep wisper me some of cat , prices, merchand etc and even get a link for more info

    It happened in HT too. Sent a ticket, changed my password and looked if there could be a thread about it (and now there is one).

    I hope the fool(s) responsible for this new mess will be caught soon enough. b:scorn

    That would be really messed up. Hopefully the links will only be PWI red spam promo or sale links and not links anyone can type into world chat, PMs, etc. I accidentally click enough wrong things depending on how fast wc is scrolling. If I click a link to a compromised website, and get ****, the wraith of God will fall upon PWI

    Happened on Morai as well, on multiple of my toons. I reported the bluemsg as spam using the ingame report option, but I'm not holding much hope on anything being done about it.
    Quaint. On the worldchannel players tend to warn eachother about malicious links. On private channels, that doesn't happen. Couple of clueless folks are going to lose their stuff I guess...

    my wife had one of those pm's - name of the pm'er ended on BL, this thing was advetiseing a bot program.

    How i found? took the charname and googled it, found both a russian and other sites with it.

    1 of there other scams is to make toons with simular names . tell u took look at video they made of killing boss wedding etc... this is real easy if your name has like a lower case L in it which can be reolaced by upper casr i looks same l in game

    Joelr just keeps spamming. Everytime Kitty logs in on some char Kitty gets that effin whisper within a min from login, no matter where she ish at.

    GMs can do anything about it?

    Our LC bot is NonaTrader. It's been reduced to the joke of the server.

    Same problem on HT.

    Tho ive been using a Horn to remind people not to visit the site or enter any password into any website other than the PWE or Arc websites.

    Dam annoying one of the people i know got ****. Tho with constant reminders I do wonder sometimes.

    The one on Sanc is called NonaTrd. Im guessing it's the same person on almost every server?

    Can i ask if this is all in the same area of the server?

    This would probly help out the GMs to deal with the issue as well. they must be using the T list function to be able to know who is about...


    PLEASE make sure you have set a password on your bank and that its a different password to your login. This will help protect your toon in the event anything "Should" happen. Also the AH uses a different password from the Login and bank one so its wise if you have gold to secure it.

    Yep at the crossroads in West Arch. This is why I am so confused why GM Surtr was on Dreamweaver in West Arch before maintenance and did not see this first hand.
