With the above, be sure to do it a times you'll be most active. Various servers have varying lulls on WC and such, so a server that may usually be super active could potentially be relatively quiet during the hours you're on which would cause you to feel like it's not as active as it really is.

Plus, that way you'll have an easier time with (some) events depending on your time zone.

Maybe you should come back to the game latter when new expansion comes out the new moon fairy class looks interesting and you will experience a new type of gameplay.

NOT again about economy pls.b:surrender Arent you tired to keep talking about game economy? Go and play the game, try to have fun, try not to think about economy or you ll miss all the fun stuffs this game can offer.

I just got back as well and haveing a lot of fun. There are purist trolls that pretend to play that troll the forums. They do not play. They cry about inflation, slow to level, ghost towns, etc... They rage quit back in 2009 and vowed to troll the forums to keep it at its toxic reputation. So far my experience:

I starte in forums with the same question: "How is it?" I filtered the trolls and got some VERY good notes I wrote down. Here is my original thread: http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1707681

In addition, they "hyped" the experience in this game up. So you will not be staying "low level" for too long *prepares to dodge troll spear* AND NO that does not mean it is easy mode. The old guys want you to farm 500 mobs in one sitting for 3 months before hitting level 30. Then they want you on pure group content to end game...That is not in line with new updates they want people to get into faster, or with current mmorpg status (people learning content, not pressing 1 2 3 for hours makes the player feel good).

That said, it is perfect world...The map is not instanced for the most part. Meaning low players ARE all over the place. In my guild I train at least 2 new players per day... And in the noob areas, no, not a WHOLE army of noobs, but there are people just rolling their first level 1. The real fun starts around 30 or when you start to do your first bounty hunter. The questing is what will keep you busy as in any mmorpg and very well rewarding up to level 80, and perhaps beyond. People are so addicted (and want your help) in dailies EXP bursts of BHs and Phoenix Valley (grind the hallway instance) that they will sa your only goal in life is to do that... Sort of true...do it if it is convenient. But get back into enjoying questing, and exploring, and socializing, and yes, hopping into those fun dailies.

One thing I found are the things you implemented that even some vets did not notice. I told an old time player the other day that Jolly old Jones (NPC that gives you 150,000 coins daily). exists...she had no idea, and now sees him daily to get gold. SO if you connect the dots the old and the new are in harmony:
Crazy stone and the new armor you get for free in level up rewards = cash to repair and buy (gems). TO balance the new players cash, you get fat cash daily.

"Oh but it is a mean world out there full of cash shoppers". There is an NPC that gives you free Charms EVERY DAY until level 80. (and level up rewards you with even more...I have so may I throw them away).

This balance makes it "faster" or "more convienient" to start PWI in my opinnion. The rest, around 75 80, when you need more people to do some harder stuff, requires your social skills. I have met powerrful people drop in on me in two ways. 1) "hi need help with anything?" don't exploit them with boring "help me kill these 10 mobs for my quest", but use them to show off their strength on mini bosses, and dungeons. They are there to show off. Or, I had the guy drop in on my to PK me. Compliment him, ask him how he is so strong (kiss a little ***), and the next thing I know he is running all my BH's for me. Says sorry for Pking me, and gave me a new weapon for free.... I have some new players that drop in on me. Add me as friends, group me right away, and say "COme helpe me please"..and all they want to do is farm their quest mobs...I usually drop them since they just want to speed through their quests to speed level. If they asked help for something more important, I help...What goes around comes around...
And yes there are meanies out there. I have a guy that loves PKing me around Wraith Swamp. And then troll whispers me. Put him on block, play the fun game of sneaking around him to get my quest done or waiting for another time to come back...I got over it and got all I need. Never saw him again...

That's it! There are new key things to do daily (CHECK IN!) but the game is far from "dead", lower pop than the OB craze? sure! Dead? Nope. Fun. Always. b:bye

And if you have good guild, you don't need to rely on the economy for things you can get yourself from dungeons / monsters. The economy is just option number 2 for your mats. And if you have coin, sure, exploit away! You will notice people cry when they don't get free hand outs. And say the game is dead. "Hyper FC no longer works! OMG GAME IS DEAD SOON" "Can't get X item with skill, so will use coin. Cat shop to expensive? OMG GAME DEAD!"
Same troll, different day.

I started on HT as Ying (Wizard) but moved to Harshlands... August 2013 I returned to HT (PvE).. I really like it here... a PvE server just seems to fit me better.
