I don't mind free stuff, and normally wouldn't bother to object either, but really? This year they gave the exact same mount as last year, and as 3rd code even ("best for last", yet this was the worst for last).

The best code was the Jade Giftbox Ticket, yet people who claimed it with last years anniversary can't get it this time and not a single PWI-employee has commented on that yet.

So we got 2 anniversaries with duplicate rewards. What is there to look forward to next year, the same rewards over and over we are unable to unpack?b:surrender

I don't get the point you're trying to make here.

We've been getting the same reward every year for five years with one random recolored mount thrown in for each new year. If we had continued the same system as we were using before, this year would be:

Year 1 people get flaming hellhound.
Year 2 people get goldfish fash + year 1
Year 3 people get purple fox + year 1/2
Year 4 people get red boa + year 1/2/3
Year 5 people get green unicorn + year 1/2/3/4
Year 6 people get (insert recolored mount or maybe fash here) + year 1/2/3/4/the unicorn from 5 they can't use on the same chars they redeemed it on last year anyways.



We were already always getting the same stuff each year. I had 14 free mounts on multiple accounts from purely anni rewards (remember, we got the normal redeem method and then a code for EVERYTHING last year, which is how those of us who remembered last year knew from the start not to redeem the unicorn on the same chars we already used it on), so it doesn't make sense to me how anyone can be complaining about getting the same things when that's been happening since the very start.

Meanwhile we also now have some nice fash this year, got some items that were actually USEFUL instead of being purely vanity items, and they're not even done with the codes for this month yet. Nobody ever said that they had to make the last code the best one and we don't need to be trying to hype them up to something they likely aren't even allowed to do.

Honestly, this has been the most rewarding anniversary year bar none because of all the extra codes. None of the other years have even come close on sheer utility, even if this year had what's likely been the least fuss made about it by PWE themselves.

I never got that boa.... Did it glitch out on some people or something? Because I got everything but that one. But yeah, I never realized I missed out on an anniv mount until like 2 weeks ago sooooo yeah. Weird. b:surrender
