I have started a seeker, and, in the beginning, you get a quest to visit a few NPC's for freebie starter gear like with every race/class. The seeker gear (haven't checked about the mystic) has set bonuses (yes, on lvl 1 gear), one of which is "Chi +50".

One of the items (mouse over "Complect" to see the set bonuses):

Is this a bad translation or something I just don't get? It does not actually add 50 chi to your chi meter, neither before the first culti that unlocks the chi bar nor after. The stats didn't seem to change apart from what the actual gear piece gives if enough are removed to lose this set bonus.

I have never seen that bonus anywhere else, and I have seen loads of weird bonuses. I don't think it's a proc, either.

Can someone knowledgeable about this tell me what this means?

Bad translation, it should say MP +50.

That's what I thought, too but the MP didn't change. Retried it now, it did. Lag? Bug? Who knows.

So yeah, it is MP after all.
