    ngl, Sapphire was like...my favorite Pokemon game ever. Just retain how contests and secret bases worked and add in the whole customizing trainer thing from X/Y and I am sold.

    I thought about it but I was too lazy because I already screamed to every single friend I have that HOENN REMAKES ARE COMING b:dirty

    Sapphire (and Emerald) was/is my favourite Pokemon game. Of course Black&White and X&Y came into play and threatened Sapphire from the throne but..Sapphire is big part of my childhood. Pearl&Diamond get a bit of that too but Sapphire is where it's at.

    Gold was my first game but back then I didn't know english..and I still wonder how I ever managed to finish that game xD (well, except beating Red).
    By the time I got Sapphire, I knew basic english so I could finally understand...things. On top of that the graphics were sooooo much better compared to the old games (arguably the jump from Gen 3 graphics to Gen 4 graphics wasn't as big as Gen 2 to Gen 3).

    It introduced a bunch of new features along with my favourite HM ever: Dive. I also really liked the region itself with so much sea (probably because I grew up on an island, though now I live in a city due to college), Sootopolis city is even based on the island I grew up on.

    Gen 3 also has most of my favourite pokemon designs...

    I do hope they keep Secret Bases and Contests and add Amie/Customization.. well I could live without Amie maybe (just transfer pokemon to Y to have my fun) but Customization has to be in D: I need the ability to customize my player-avatars. I NEED IT!

    12 year old me just absolutely loved it..so my 22 year old me will finally turn 12 again!

    Ruby/Sapphire were my first PokeGames. I had Sapphire first and I ended up losing it before I could even defeat the Elite Four (RIP Female Lvl 88 Sceptile). When I got Ruby I would play it almost all the time, beat it, and start over. I never really started over on Emerald because of the wonderful ****, just spammed it and got copies of my precious bby's.

    I was a contest girl, I loved the set-up of Hoenn contests and every gen contests after were lame. Seriously, dressing up Pokemon and making them dance? I would like to see 90% same set up in contests with a huge graphic update. Maybe have the ability for some attacks to draw with the stylus, like bubble, flamethrower, and ice beam, mainly those kind of attacks.

    Secret bases will be fun to see with the new graphics and 3d function, those weren't my priority when I was young, but now I will probably deck that all out.

    The hype is so real for me. I would like to see an update to May/Brendan's style while still having the customization. I also would really like it to be able to wear gym leader's clothes, kthxbai D;

    Emerald was my first pokemon game. I started it about a week ago when I downloaded it on my phone and beat it last night. The key to beating it is to keep pressing the A button until you win.

    I think it was hold down Start/Select A/B at the same time. It's okay Kossy, I have a gamebrick too and it still works. We can be old together and share war stories sometime. ;p

    I want to see what they did to the Trick House. I remember entering that place for the first time and thought I was now a prisoner of the place and was never gonna leave again.

    Oh and Fortree City, I'm sure that place is gonna look amazing on the 3DS, being up in treehouses and all. Winona might even make it a sky battle in her gym battle.

    Maybe with this remake we might see Swampert and Sceptile go mega to go along with Blazenkin now. And since this is the gen Latios and Latias were made in, we might see their mega here now too.

    Someone recommend a good fighting type to fit on my team! Other than Conk there's not really any bulky enough who don't mind status.

    Made me wish I had Aromatherapy on mine or an good fighting type. He gave up.

    If I had Aromatherapy on mine (which I now do) I could have gone to Aegis, Sacred Sword to force a switch, then been able to swap back to Chansey later down the road to take the paralyze off.

    My team's been changing a lot the last two days. I can't seem to find a combination that suits me so I keep changing in order to beat certain things.

    ...I miss Hippowdon. He's such a beast. I'm also surprised at just how much I love Mega Manectric.

    Mega Sceptile tempting me hard to pick Treecko for Sapphire remake. >:

    I'll probably just remake my old all female team from Sapphire of Blaziken, Gardevoir, Walrein, Absol, Raichu, and Breloom though.

    I'll go for Mudkip. I realised I had always kept my Mudkips as Mudkips (played S/E multiple times) for some reason...I don't know why..I guess I thought Mudkip is too cute to evolve. I also like it's Mega Evolution~ I've had way to many Trochics/Treeckos and their evolutions.

    I know for sure I'll get Gardevoir and Mawile. Possibly an Altaria because I've never used one in a team and the rest I'll see on the spot.
    I want to recreate my original team but I also want to use new pokemon..ehh

    Am I allowed to revive this thread?

    I got Alpha Sapphire last week. It's so pretty and I really like the dexnav. Also can't wait to unlock secret bases 'cause those and contests were like the best things ever. D:

    Also, I wonder traded some breeding rejects off this morning and got a Zekrom. First ever legendary wonder trade. :D
