The Ponies have their own thread, so why not the Pokemon.

    I'm looking forward the newest Pokemon games although I have no money for them or a 3DS so it might take a while until I can actually play them xD

    The franchise became **** the second you couldn't "catch 'em all" without having attended an event. Never played a game since then.

    Gotta catch em all was the anime catch phrase, not sure if it was ever stated in any of the games. Also pokedex completion is based off of seeing them now, and the event pokemon are not required. Also with the ds, they give you many of the event pokes over random wifi events, which you can access easily when they are on. The only instance I ever had of "catching them all" was in my recent Emerald playthrough on my phone's emulator, where i triggered all the events with code inputs, and used pc emulator to trade from fire red. The only pokemon i had never had before that i recieved from it were celebi and mew though

    That was on the forum a while ago when people compared it to PWI. It was funny. Yahtzee pretty much summarizes my thoughts on post GameBoy-age Pokemon. It's Nintendo though. They do the same things every generation with every damn game.

    Black and White one were absolute money based rushed games to get one last run out on the ds before the 3ds, and they sucked. However black and white 2, which they actually took their time making when they realized they could still make money because the 3ds wasnt selling well (Headaches whenever you turn on 3-d) and they were amazing games. I alraedy know what starter in using in Gen VI, since the Fennec Fox has always been one of my favorite animals since seeing one at the zoo years and years ago.

    Well I've been feeling sick for the past few days, slight fever and no energy, so I do what i normally do when i'm out of it, browse the internet randomly.

    Today I discovered that we had a possible presidential candidate that was into Pokemon, and actually quoted it in speeches. This is kinda old, but I never knew about it.

    I think Herman Cain's pokemon love is what caused this pokemon lipdub to be created. Or at least that my theory and I'm sticking to it! Cause this pokemon meets politics thing makes no sense otherwise. xD It's the President this time "singing" the pokemon theme song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=cYuZlhCPbjM#t=24s Unlike Cain though, he didn't actually sing it. It's just his speeches could be cut together to make it seem like he did. xD

    Honestily, I've never been too good at the little type-favourites thingy. Mostily because I pay a bunch of attention to base stats so want to know the mechanics of what I'm talking about, and that makes it hard to just like a bunch based on type and not really think about it OTL

    These are favorites, not competitive favorites. I mean Charizard is on this list still b:laugh

    And Arceus doesn't have 1000 hands, it just had 500 slaves. It shaped the world with 1000 hands he purchased from pokemon satan, who will be revealed in gen 6

    I don't like Arceus a whole lot, although the Extreme Speed Wallceus variant is a ****ing beast. I used it when I played Ubers so very long ago, ****in' bro material right there.

    I only said Arceus because it can be every time.

    Side note, I died a little on the inside when I watched the movie he was in. He had a horrible child-like voice and apparently his name is pronounced Ark-e-us, not Ar-see-us. The way I thought it was sounded much cooler man.

    Mewtwo uses a female voice in Japan, but is clearly masculine in dubs, also, I know that when Pokemon players in America discovered Arceus we thought it was the later, but it makes sense that it is the former, the work ark is associated with God due to the story of Noah.

    Also, Extreme Speed Stab Arceus with Swords Dance is OP.

    I prefer to take advantage of multiscale bulk. Dragonite tanks for days. Alakazam can cover his weaknesses nicely 'cause most of those are pretty fragile and Alakazam outspeeds like a champion. <3 Alakazam.

    I should play pokemon again. Oh well!

    Ahh, gosh....
    I have one of 'those' umbreons, her name is Nier.... she's really fun to fight with :3 I tend to have a more fufilled time fighting with pokemon like her (those requiring strategy to even use kinds)than just sweeping stuff, sweeping gets a little boring after a while.

    What about swords danced Super Luck absols~? (as in what're you views on those Gecko, are they 'too OP' x3?)

    I noticed you started using Cloyster, easy OHKO to Dragonite even with Substitute. Cloyster 2gud.

    Like.... what's even the point of using a pokemon with a freakishily high defence stat in one area but you know its other defence totally sucks so it doesn't even matter, really? Is how I always thought about it/that general subject, anyway.
