i for one refuse to put anymore money on this game - recently they havent cared about anything to do with there customers - there gms delete tickets they cant be bothered to reply to , they dont give us any warning about the website change , they do a rollback ( granted it might of actually been last resort) but the orb thing was stupidity, its a half hearted job all the time and you are losing player base daily due to your incompetant actions. i suggest you stop thinking about money and actually think about your customers for a change, IMO you might actually get somewhere.0

i depend on coreconnect to track down new guildies and insure they are not tied to a known scammers account. not that its a perfect solution but is way better then nothing at all , currently i cant seem to find any way to access it , could some one please walk me thru where it went? would be greatly appreacteated. ty0

The real reason we are being forced into Arc, is because when it wasn't mandatory - it was a complete failure. They don't want the fake steam to be classified as a failure, so they're forcing it in.

Below you will find a link to our new blog, which gives out redemption codes for blessings. The code system is using Arc, so you will need to download Arc to redeem them"

If you do have Arc - as many free blessings as you can click on.

I dont have the redeem code on mine either, so that means that anyone who already has arc compared to those tht dont, are screwed. since its only made for those tht already have arc.

Actually what you guys saw in that screenshot is the arcgamesr website.
The redeem code is via Arc itself, not the site. So those who don't have Arc installed can't actually use this code.(Insert fancy image here)

You need to download and use the Arc client, not visit the site, in order to redeem the codes. The website itself has no redeem function.(Insert fancy image here)0 -
I've had the displeasure of broken programs that ruin everything before so I remain more than a little skeptical of ARC. Sweet promises are the cheapest commodity & trick on the planet (devised man or devil I cannot say...).

On my computer(from which I play on max detail levels) Arc actually lagged the game to 4-8fps in areas where there was only a few player/mobs...When I got rid of Arc the game went up to 30 fps (in archasaur)
I'm not gonna download something that ruins my game experience like that b:shocked[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Download Arc, open it when you need to. Other than that, just open the game through elementclient.exe0 -
Here's a question I haven't seen asked yet (and therefore not answered),
I have pwi on my system, old school, since I started playing in 2010. I also have ARC, because after a problem some time back I lost my STO client and had to install ARC to re-dl that game. I use a pre-pay mobile internet connection which makes downloading large files very expensive, is there some way to make my existing pwi install playable within ARC without having to re-dl the game, as I simply can't afford to do that atm, it would cost me more than $50 in data allowance and I'm between jobs atm b:surrenderI have Luke Skywalker on a wibble-wobble; your argument is invalid

POSSIBLY. Actually, it looks like there may be a way to do this using the ui on the ARC client. At the bottom left is an ''Add Games'' button, when clicked gives you the option to browse all games, or add existing games, which takes you to a windows explorer screen to look through your pc files. I may try this when they finally disable the current pwi launcher.

b:victoryb:victory Opened my OLD SCHOOL client and was happy to see that there would be charge rewards and bonuses for spending gold! Yes! b:laugh
Then when I logged onto pwi.perfectworld.com (the system message that pops up tells me to go there and not some BS site) it redirects me to some horrible new **** called Arc.
I was so happy to being this close to charging more zen, but now I don't trust this phony new site. It probably just wants my information to steal money and force me to download some **** client to have 523958209 games I will never play when I only want one.

All one need do is check the associated links and redirects, in order to understand the changes are intended to track your interaction within the PWE online enterprise. From a business perspective, this is completely logical and some would say necessary for a forward looking online business model. Sadly, from a consumer perspective, it means another resource compelling you to agree to your every action being monitored and monopolized by GOOGLE.
How many of you have a clue how your interaction with the new PWE business model will subject you to privacy invasion from GOOGLE and other third party marketing and analysis services? Your interaction alone, with the new PWE online processes is tantamount to full approval and agreement with surrendering your individual privacy to said third party marketing and analysis services. With the revelations of online security and data mining that have come to light over the past few years, anyone that is not aware of this reality is either naive, uninformed or just plain ignorant.
The saddest part of all this is that so many will never truly understand, or even care about the implications and consequences of the changes taking place in online business decisions, such as we are currently suffering from with PWE. PWE MUST do what is in their best interest, in order to be relevant and competitive in providing their products online. Unfortunately, you and I will be forced to make crucial decisions as to how willing we are, in sacrificing our privacy (freedom) to these said third parties; for the sake of pleasure!!
Remember, Google is gobbling up AND STORING "everything" pertaining to YOU, as it comes through their data pipes directly AND indirectly! Do you seriously believe Goggle is the only one? Decisions you make online today will be a matter of stored record in the future, you can not escape it! You better be damned sure you are comfortable with the seemingly small tidbits of info you so casually submit to others today, will never prove to be a tragic surrender of galactic proportions in some distant (or not so distant) future!0 -
ARC needs a visible link to Spending Charge rewards. It's extremely hard to find. I had to use old school to get there and spend the points.0

I dont like what me take in nose any one program, when i just want go in pwi homepage. Now unpossible open page, all time thsi stupid spam. Arck. But if i dont want instal it in my computer, why hold on this?
If yours so do, i it understand what it be any one from spy programs, so as yours can check my computer. And why i need got Arck in my computer, and use RAM resurses for it, if i dont use this program? For me, i need Arck only so as install PWI not more.0 -
Meh. If ARC gets uppity, applying some Task Manager medicine works out fine. "Terminate process" will sort it out in a hurry. "ElementClient.exe" is all that needs to be running...
But so far I've not had any issues with it - I was launching the game through that previous client of theirs anyway. I find the ARC browser overlay function (shift-tab) handy for looking up some stuff on the wiki, on ecatomb or on the pwdatabase when factionfolk ask about things. That browser could use a "favorites" bar though.I'm so P.R.O... I Press Respawn Often.

Wow. This is nothing new. Google has been collecting information for years. This is how it finds us when we google our facebooks, tumblrs and other social media sites. This is how adsense works. A Google AdSense advertisement will either target you based on your country (usually a government add) or will show you video/image/text adds based on what you've googled, the sites you've visited, the downloads you make, etc etc.
Google stores things, the same way any site stores information. You, theoretically, chose to sacrifice your privacy online whenever you signed up for a website, social networking mainly. That is a general you by the way, it's not directly targeted at you yourself. Websites have been monitoring how you use them the same way TV stations will monitor your cable, etc, to see what you're watching. Or your ISP will get a red flag if you try to google/visit certain sites.
This sounds like one giant post designed to scare people into not moving forward with a website. It's not he first game launcher client that's been released and it won't be the last. Unless your visiting illegal websites or websites about how to make a uranium bomb, or just plain being a mega racist, white supremacist, etc online, then you really don't have anything to worry about.
But you should be worrying about typing in your credit card information. I recommend Paypal if anyone is worried about it and doesn't already use it. w0 -

And associating PWI with Facebook does what? Really. Have you any shred of an idea what kind of relationship Facebook has with governments and even 3rd party entities? Anything one does online is monitored by 3rd party processes somehow one way or another. You are accessing online content through 3rd party sources when you use a freaking ISP, and every commercial node between you and PWI servers. How does the NSA and the FBI or any foreign agency monitor internet activity? Think about it and get used to it.
You may as well live like Google, Facebook, Skype, et al are just intelligence and data collection services of the government and private industry and every time you access the internet you feed your personal info into them. Don't complain when PWE does something every other website or software that hooks onto something online does. If it bothers you that much then uninstall the internet.I **** bigger than you...
