Can we get a server Merge

Seems like NW is dien on Arch Server i dont know about the rest but we are only getting about a 600 person show up now.When NW came out it was like a 1000 person turn up and was hella fun. Its not just NW i mean its for all instances seems like a lot less people are playing now. It would be great to have new people to do stuff with. I think a server merger would be a AWESOME thing to have. It would give everyone more stuff to do together from PVP to PVE. This would also get the game to be fun again with a lot more people to so stuff with. I make random squads all the time just to see how many new people pm me that i havnt done stuff with. Lately that number seems to be very small where its the people that ive done a ton of runs with are the main ones that pm me. ( Not saying thats a bad thing just saying would be nice to have new people to so stuff with ). I really think that a server merge would be a awesome thing all around. I know there will be some people who will QQ and say no merge because they hate change. But honetly the game needs a change and freash life again and with a server merger it would do that. I am not saying you have to take a pvp and pve server and merge them together. But how about another PVE server with the Arch server because it is a PVE server. This would change things all around and i think in a Awesome FUN WAY !!! I know the chances of this happening is very low but i wanted to toss out the idea of it. This would be a AWESOME thing to happen.

Honestly it doesnt matter to me what server it is. It should be another PVE server based on the fact Arch is a PVE server. This would Bring out new life for both Servers and get more people to be able to have more fun and meet more people. If you have played this game for a long time also you know what i mean. By when i say u see basicly the same people over and ver when making new squads. ( still not saying thats bad ). Just stating a point for PVE and PVP this would be a AWESOME thing. Yes i would be more laggy. Yes it would be a lil crazy at first. But when you really think about it. This would be a AWESOME thing to have done bringing out new life to both servers. I hope PWI doesnt base it off of just my Post. Honestly what would be best is if a ADMIN would do a poll about this. Where you pick yes or no and what server you are on. This way they can see first hand on how many people think this would be a great thing. But make it where people can only do the poll once this way its not 1 person spamming yes or no. You will get real numbers then. Being the fact i am a gamer and not a Admin i can not set it up that way. But atleast its a really good idea to think about. But it would really need to be done that way where someone can only vote once

I did log on my HT toon the other day and oh my gosh, I can see the shops at west from Silver pool cause there's so many, on HL there's like 10 shops at west. b:shocked

Because it was in the wrong section and while we make exceptions a few days after expansion launches for guides, that's about it. All other threads posted in the wrong section get moved when we notice them.

It woudnt be impossible at all many other games have been able to do it. All it would take is a lil bit of work to get it done.

yes but other games have better staffing,better tech support, better server, usualy have newer equipment....for PWI it is impossible because they dont want to spend the time and money on getting better staff and programers to actualy sit down and figure it out, not to mention some servers are way outdated.

with merger would mean new server just moving everyone ( with all there stuff and gear ) from 2 server in to 1. Yes it would be hard and would take some work. But long run way worth it for PWI and there Gamers. I know it is asking a lot from the staff and ownership of PWI. But I know people that have left the game because they are tired of having trouble finding people for squads. ( Honestly many people !!! ) they was cash shoppers and non cash shoppers but non the less DAILY gamers. Thats what is importent is too keep the daily players right. Keeping people wanting to be on here and play with there friends on here. We kinda need this merge because we dont have too many active people on the Arch server anymore. ( i know hard to tell if u watch world chat sometimes ) But most of the people are either spaming to sell stuff or trolling people or having a convo or singing lyrics in world chat. I understand with all the releveling people are doing that not everyone is high level anymore and i love that. But that isnt the ishue its the lack of people playing. I see people having to world chat 20+ times to fill a squad/ ( my self have had to do this many times ) It makes it very expansive to make squads for everything now. We need more people. If you guys do not want to give us a Merger because of how much work it is. How about advertising on TV. Get new gamers and hell thats still a win win for everyone. I know what i am asking is a lot regardless but i love playing this game a lot and i would love to see a huge change for the best

Well I play on HT server and last night I believe we had around 150 ppl per nation. So based on just those numbers maybe Archosaur isn't doing too bad? ( Either that or Heaven's Tear population is also on a big decline : /)

We had about that and less in some nations its been going down week after week and i know people running 2 + chars in there at the same time so its really even less tbh we used to have 250+ when NW came out and now we are lucky if we get 150 per nation its another reason why it would be good for both server would give us more people for everything and would have things poping off and people having a lot more fun again instead of spaming work chat for people for 20-30 min to fill a squad where it can be 1 tele and boom full squad again

With the price of everything (specifically charms) creeping up to and beyond 10m these days, the rewards from NW just don't offer enough profit to justify the charm burn (especially since I've noticed SoW dropping rather significantly in price now as well...which is weird since there are fewer in circulation due to low NW attendance) and I'd imagine attendance will continue to drop progressively until those prices start to normalize or at least plateau and remain steady so the rest of the economy can adjust.

What happened in game is the same thing the US gov't (and other governments around the world) has done for years now: quantitative easing. The market gets flooded with gold/coin (from something like a big sale or the introduction of NW; it took weeks for the prices of raps/cannies/SoW to finally bottom out). The in-game currency is trashed because everybody has more of it, the price of gold creeps up and up and up, sales end and you're left with a seemingly unbelievably high new standard for item pricing. Eventually everyone just grows to accept it until they introduce another wave of quantitative easing and the cycle begins again.

^This. I haven't done NW in a couple months after I got all that I wanted, in fact my entire squad stopped going a little bit after. It just stopped being fun and wasn't worth the expense anymore. So there's still a hunk of the server population that doesn't even attend NW, so basing how active a server is soley in NW might be a little skewed now since I'm sure my squad and I aren't the only people who decided to stop going, same goes for all servers.

To be fair, I think the endgame people remarks are a tad harsh. Not directed at you personally, but in general. Not sure about RT but on DW and my squad I actively hunt down similar geared endgame squads to fight, these provide the most fun, and the most contribution, and make for great videos!

You don't get much contribution from one shotting people, it's not very fun, and is not the reason I stay up so late to attend.

A server merge would actually be great there would be loads of new people to fight with different experiences and skill levels and PvP/competition/rivalries would be alive again.

However very unlikely so I won't hold my breath.

I would actually like it if they made you able to move a character from one server to the other. With time restrictions of course, so people don't hop servers on mood just like that.

Because there are people like me who regret not choosing another server when they were still low level.
I am in Europe so having people to talk to, a Faction that is active when I am (still haven't found one yet) and so on is very difficult to find. Now it is too late to pack my stuff and move over, having progressed so much, also I made some great friends which I don't want to lose touch with.

Looking back on what happened to the Morai server recently though, I am relieved I wasn't there when it happened. I don't cope well with such things...

Stalked the website several times in the past and also got two other friends who are in your faction who said I should join in the "Fluff boat" when my level is appropriate. Guess that is a sign one way or another, I should be there at some point! b:chuckle

I believe this is up to the GMs to look over the data as above you really cant call server numbers on NW numbers. Also I will say this is one of the most asked for ideas. For that and the above reason I cant log this.
