Herpderp. No shi? The kill combo is obvious, the issue is wearing him down enough to make him waste genie and pots, which took ages given his insistence of simply spamming heal til I went black.

It was 7 fights.
Very first fight, I died due to my charm actually dying midfight. Anyone can attest to this, quite ironically thanks to two sins who insisted on camping me as I tried to res up and had an easy time doing so since I had 1k HP upon res-up instead of the 10k I'd have with a charm. So thanks sins for proving it.

Second fight I lost rather stupidly due to simply not being quick enough and thinking I could relax on a skill change when I couldn't, but hey, I lost.

After that is when I won three in a row. Two due to proper DoT combos and rather EXCRUITIATING patience since I had to knock out his resistances (pots, genie) and as you can see his solution to white voodoo is "mindlessly spam self-heal," one partly thanks to a crit at just the right moment.

Then you have the vid you see here, where yeah, I didn't expect to die there because that was literally -the- first time he'd used the skill so I'd assumed tactical reversion without bothering to look.

Last fight, I won. This was the last fight not because we'd agreed on 7 or something, but simply because it got boring as hell cause each fight took ages -just- to coax his pot and genie out of him.



And as Kevvy was quick to point out, I have no blessing for these fights, he does.


This idiot gets on world chat claiming "we fought 8 times, I won 5," of course I called BS on that and everyone said "let's let the video decide who's lying." Fast forward to now, his footage of my other 4 deaths is mysteriously missing, as is the footage of every fight EXCEPT the singular fight where he actually won by doing something smart, not due to unlucky charm death on my end or my own failures.


I would record myself, except I get bad fraps lag with videos. Not bad, per se, but had I gotten a fraps lag in one of our fights, my screen freezes for a good 6+ seconds, which yeah, is a death sentence in many cases. Also contrary to popular belief, I'm NOT such an egotistical d-bag that I would aim to upload an ill-intended video of someone failing if that person simply has the courage to at least try; I'm not about proving I'm the best, I'm about coaxing others into actually trying and improving, of which a video such as this achieves neither since the person already proved an ability to do both when they accepted the 1v1.
Trust me though, I catch this idiot out of SZ alone? Oh yeah, I'm recording. Hell, there'll be a mother****ing montage. If this idiot wants to be in denial about what happened? I'll pile up the evidence so high and shove it in his face not even he can deny it.


This isn't about "my ego being bruised" because wtf I'm sitting here admitting to three deaths, one of which I even say was due to my own stupidity. No, I just have a massive beef with liars. Liars are the most pathetic scum on earth, attempting to make people like them by misconstruing who they are and what they did completely. What's the point in even being liked though if it's not even truly -you- they like, but rather some work of fiction you've written? Bonus points for being pathetic considering this 1v1 fest started when Boomz claimed I'm "too egotistical" to admit a loss, then lo and behold he loses and blatantly lies about it.



Also, have a present from a guildie. You'll also notice any comments on that vid pointing out there were other fights MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEAR!!! Liars are the most pathetic scum on the planet, I swear.

It's not that he did lost the issue, it's that the OP did posted the only fights he did win hiding all the others where he lost and than he's all ''I'M THE BEST I DID BEAT LONGKNIFE'', the OP won 3 fight on 4 iirc than said he will upload the video than we find out he didn't put any of the ones he lost and he act like he was the best.

Truffles makes some really good points. Why would he post a pvp vid where he gets owned? We can both see what the two did - it was a long, 10 minute fight. Whoever lost or won isn't as important as seeing how they got to that point.

TBH I think I'm one of the only people who have ever posted a video of a duel where I was outgeared, made mistakes, and lost. Most vids I see are like +12 sins pk'ing TT99 geared players...and there's really absolutely nothing to learn from those vids.

It might surprise some, but in an actual fight people tend to make a LOT of mistakes and wrong guesses. The "good" players are just those who can recover from them faster/better, and recognizes/takes advantage of opportunities quickly and decisively. But it takes an unbiased eye to actually see them, because we tend to rationalize our own choices after the fact.

Also Boomz outgears Longknife by a bit, but he also kinda sucks at playing wiz optimally, so imo it was an equally matched duel.

It still doesn't take away the fact that he made a very good play at the end, and tbh I'm not really interested in watching a vid where a player dies because they ran out of charm or w/e.

You can tell OP is a scrub because he uploaded one, of the three, rounds he won in a bo7 in which Longknife won overall. He doesn't post the overall score in his original post or video description, which is why Longknife had to.

We can clearly see what each player does, and Boomz isn't really fooling anyone but himself. Truffles made a good point in saying that it's the fault of both players for blowing this up way out of proportion (I've seen them arguing for 20 minutes in world chat, for some reason. Like wtf? Why post your arguments on WC? These are the same type of people who would argue in /all in an LoL game rather than in team chat).

Waaaaaay too many people on the server these days have an attitude of "if I don't die it means I win!!" No, it means you didn't even try to fight unless the situation was perfectly catered to how you wanted it.
