im asking becous just got my 2nd cast ws and i heard rumors that we geting another upgrade of it is it true? i just dont want to waste tons of cash on refining when 1-2 months latter next cast pop had so with r8 recast +10th it and 1 week pass nv3rd came.....b:angry so if any nice GM mod can helpout ill be :)glad b:victory

Getting warsoul weapons is actually quite smart. It costs 500m, people can make back about 20m~30m a week by doing daily/weekly stuff.
That is 6~8 months. Plus there is no need for further weapon upgrade after lvl 80.0 -

recasted warsoul is around 750m. with the current sale, r9 is cheaper. I don't see how making 20-30m/week changes the fact that a warsoul weapon is, for most classes, overpriced.you only purge once #yopo0 -

Where are you guys getting these numbers from. The total coin cost of an upgraded Warsoul weapon is a little less than 400 mil (398 or so) coin. Maybe before it used to cost that much, but with NW the weapon is relatively cheap to make when compared to other end game weapons. And way cheaper than R9.AstriaFae

I agree with this, I know two people who made their warsoul weapon for 300m. f:bike They can also recast for 200m. You're neglecting the cost of supply tokens. Pure coin cost of a warsoul weapon using only nw forge is ~391mil.. To that you gotta add 5965 supply tokens, which is ~60k each.. Thats almost 360mil more you gotta add to the total cost of an upgraded Warsoul wep. So total cost comes down to just under 750mil.

Mine is with cost of tokens. If you know the right people you can get the tokens for dirt cheap tbh. Get out there and start making friends!

It costs even less. Here is how it breaks down. If you farm all the NW tokens yourself and pay nothing but the fee to make the items at the forge it will cost you:
262.5 million for all the warsoul mats. (The mold and making the weapon is free. So that is the price of the first weapon.)
For the upgrade it is 40 SoW's (52.5 million) and a fee of 78.75 million. So upgrading will cost you 131.25 million.
All together to make an upgraded warsoul weapon it will cost you 393.75 million coin.
I already have the first warsoul weapon and am just farming NW for more tokens to get the upgrade. (With luck I'll have it in the next couple of weeks). If you buy the mats or SoWs how much coin you pay will go up. But that is with anything thing in game, if you want it now you are going to pay more. Since I am making this weapon I have spent quite a bit of time going over the numbers. If you doubt the coin amounts just go to the NW forges and do the math yourself.AstriaFae

I don't hate warsoul weps.. And I doesn't say its wrong to get help from friends. It's great if you have good friends that want to help you.

Amazes me how people perform their research and their numbers, received their weapons, and others will still try to argue with them about how their decision is apparently wrong, lol.
Who cares if it was a 'waste' of money? That's subjective. People could also argue that R9 weapons are the same because they're class restricted, where in comparison, a Mysto Caster can bounce in between a Mystic/Cleric/Veno/Wizard at similar prices.
Those kind of posts fail to answer the OP's question in the first place. He already has the Warsoul recasted anyway.0 -

At current market price R9 is cheaper, there is no denying it.
I did something similar I was 800 tokens short to make my bow, so I traded the coin to a friend and he made the mats from his tokens (and my coin). I still paid for the fee so they were not free. And then once I'm done with my weapon I'll repay the tokens he borrowed me.
So you are not making them buy it for you. He currently didn't need the tokens and trusted me to pay him back, just like I trusted him enough to give him the 100+ million coin to make the mats.AstriaFae

I just find it curious seeing casters choose warsoul weapon over R999 considering the Purify proc, unless we're talking about account stashing weapons and armors in which case it makes sense.

Once again, subjective. Since I have no numbers or math to contribute to OP's post, I won't flood up his thread with WS vs r9 ****. I'll simply say to each their own and there are more factors in weapon decision than mere coin and market value. I once again point to my Class Restriction vs Versatility as an example of what people think of when they invest millions of coin into their end game.

the math part is that you can't set the cost of supply tokens to their fee as long as there are millions of catshops buying for more than that. On a weapon that expensive 100 million profit is lousy. If you can't at least get twice what your spent on it, then you are doing something wrong.

That makes no sense what so ever. The price of the Warsoul mat is the fee it cost to make it. The cost of gold is how much someone is selling it for, not the AH fee. You are comparing two totally different things
