That makes no sense what so ever. The price of the Warsoul mat is the fee it cost to make it. The cost of gold is how much someone is selling it for, not the AH fee. You are comparing two totally different things
1. no, yo uare wrong. if something cost 400M and you can sell for 500M, it is good profit. 25% profit. gl finding better in the game.
2.if you dont count supply tokens value for WS cost, then you are wrong again.

I don't think they are going to have a 3rd Warsoul upgrade so relatively soon.
It hasn't been long since Warsoul has been given the availability for people to reasonably make, seeing as it used to cost 1 billion coins or so. Even r9 was out for a longer time than this before it was given an upgraded version I think.
Actually, this would effect such a miniscule amount of the population I doubt they're even considering a 3rd cast Warsoul so soon. I've seen only a handful of Warsouls, and even fewer 2nd cast ones, at least on the server I play on.
If they wanted to created a bigger cash influx (which is of course their main priority), they make changes to Rank gear. Like most people would say, more people go Rank than any other big coin option, so I would sooner expect a r9-4 option more than a Warsoul3.
Also, it's not like you wouldn't be in the same boat that everyone else with a well refined weapon is when a new version or something better is released.
Warsoul is indeed about 400 mil to make, if you farm NW completely and do not buy anything from anyone else.
I refuse to defend Rank over Warsoul or Warsoul over Rank, it's a debate you can not win. If you want Rank, good for you! If you pick Warsoul, good for you too! Gz on your awesome weapons and kick all the butt you like

Yes it would be if he didn't need them at the time and you agreed to return those chips. Which is what I did with my friend. He currently didn't need them and once I have my weapon all done any tokens I make in future NW will be set aside for him until I can pay back the 800 I borrowed from him.
Personally I don't see anything wrong with that. He knows I'll pay him back, we're friends, we trust each other. The day after I made my Warsoul bow I traded it to him so he could refine it for me. I'm really unlucky when it comes to refining so wasn't even going to bother since I'm upgrading it any way. But he convinced me to let him try and then got it to +4 after only 10 refines.AstriaFae

There is no comparison.
Also, you'd need to do like a full year of digging gold chest in 8x tourney on some 8x alt to pay off the cost of it (using that 300-400m figure people keep giving, ik the real cost). Both Purge and Purify are only useful in PK/PvP. I know on my bow, Distract works great on mobs and bosses. Some of my hardest hits have come when my bow procs and me following it up with a thunder shock/lightning strike combo. At level 97 I managed to do a 153k critical hit. Purge is useless to any player that focuses mainly/solely on PvE; and it was one of the reasons I decided on the warsoul bow. Once I get my psy leveled up I'll never do PvP on my archer again so what good is a purge bow to me.AstriaFae

for PvE your archer doesnt even need WS bow if your planning to make an other char to PvP
but what you said ealier is still silly. you said ur friend let you borrow supply tokens, thats why WS is cheaper than R9. but then, if someone gimme chips they dont need, R9 is cheap too. you cant value items this way0 -

Purify is actually useful in PvE, not just PK, hence my comment earlier about being curious why a caster would choose not to have a Purify weapon. Honey, if all you're doing with an archer is PVE, you'd have been better off getting a g16 Nirvana bow and +5ing it for much less than the cost of making that Warsoul bow and then used the remaining coin left over for the psychic. Like, seriously. With the amount you spent on that bow, you could have r9 ring+more already for the psychic.
Also, those procs not being useful in PVE is hilarious. As Desdi states, purify is really nice for pulling instances as well as puriing off debuffs. Even purge, while not procing too much, is nice when it does proc on bosses that buff themselves when you have no veno/veno purge is on CD.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Which rumours? Gear upgrades dont really happen that frequently and at the moment I think we're kind of in the middle of the current cycle- if they brought out something soon it would be very unexpected.
Anyhow i'm guessing you're only planning to +10 right, so I would say refine it. Most you'll lose is 150mil or so! --Retired--

THo WS bow is a good pvp bow as long as you got r8 recast bow with blackhole you can be better then most r9s 3rd eas ofc i will die liek a .... to a r9+12 ppl but stil im not gona waist cash on r93rd when its not end end game gear and in the end ima end loling

I do just fine without Purify b:surrender
I just use my skills instead of relying on procs. If I happened to get a weapon with Purify, I'm sure I'd love it too, but saying a weapon isn't good just because it doesn't have X proc is pretty silly.0 -

I don't believe they're saying weapons without these procs are bad. Saying that Purify/Purge is only PvP useful is bad, though. There are uses for it in PvE, though in my opinion, not having it on a weapon is not the worst thing in the world. I'm not paying millions just to have the proc, but that's my prerogative.
I'm a Nirvana End Game type of Caster myself, but I do see the advantages of having a Warsoul for versatility and lower level adjustment just as I see the advantages of having r9 for pure power and bonuses. So to argue costs over them is just silly, because in the end, its dependent on the player's idea of end game, and not the general population's opinion. Its their coin, and how they choose to spend it.0 -

@ Reliea & Malei - I don't know about the other people's intentions but as I said it was pure curiosity the reason I kept asking it. I know in Reliea's case though it's also a thing about having a lot of alts, I remember them mentioning it in other threads.
