Hey everyone,

We've got server maintenance tonight with an estimated downtime of 11pm PDT to 2am PDT.

Tonight's maintenance will be a restart for most servers.

This week's question:

What do you think of the Archosaur Assault event?

    It's a fun event!

    When it first started, it was quite the challenge. Nowadays it's a huge zhen fest.

    Doesn't happen often enough, though now that NW's on Fridays, Assault conflicts with it.

    Because it doesn't end until 11 pmish (and switching it from 5pm start to 2pm start seemed to **** it up last time we had an Assault; there were double mobs at each spawn point after 5pm or so.) 2pm is also a rotten time for those of us who work days.

    I don't want to do NW.

    And time for Archosaur Assault event is suitable for me.

    Although event itself overcrowded by players.

    I love Attack on Archosaur event! It's a good way for lowbies like me to make coin; also, it gives people a reason to squad together.

    On the other hand, I don't like attending the event as a cleric. BBing for three (or however) straight hours isn't fun... :/

    You can check real numbers if you want.

    I just double client my sin and seeker and vort the whole time with my "pick" key held down, it's pretty boring honestly.

    Please move west archosaur event to be a north archosaur event to even out traffic flow.

    Too much lag in west location for many players especially me.

    Maybe hold event 3 times a day to cater for all the non U.S.A. players on west servers.

    Kitty loves Archo Assaults, she gets much coins and MASSIVE amount of DQ points from them by spinning with her seeker(sowwy for killing all teh running mobs) and BPing/picking all the valuable stuff on dual-cliented sin f:grin

    For your level first part you can even skip - low level DQ are not interesting for you in any case.

    Each new wave will be more an more suitable for you, although boss can be better(? - never damaged boss myself).

    pretty useless event imo, because when the mobs start to drop the non-1coin-DQ, NW also starts.

    anyway...how come this maint will last 3 hours while its only a restart? i have a feeling it wont even be 2 hours :S

    long, repetitive, boring, and i just do not need DQ points that bad, so I avoid like the plague.

    Personally I would have handed duke over to them ages ago I hate him sticking his nose in others business then telling everyone on the server.

    Just park a seeker with autopot by the spawn spot for the riders and have a bot cleric picking up

    As a newer player without any high level character I have a suggestion: Break up the assault into different level ranges. North gate: Level 30-50, East: 50-70, South: 70-90, West (where everyone always is): 90+. That gives people of all level ranges something to do.

    As for the time... I suggest moving it to Saturday.
