Error Stuck

My char and my friends are stuck on Lost City IN the Land of Buried bones

Coords 104, 317

I've sent a few tickets its been a few days no response.=/

I cs a lot and want to play, can someone tell me how to fix this???????

    that's about the same error message i'm getting after the splash page comes up and the loading bar is done.

    I have the same problem and i dont know how i can fix this bug.

    While this does happen on occasion, ways that you can get unstuck are to:

    1) Use your Town Portal. If you've used it already, you may have to wait for its cool-down period
    to expire.
    2) Submit a Ticket ask them to teleport you back to the closest city.
    3) Exit back to the Main Menu, and see if it drops you in a better spot so that you won't get stuck
    again once you log back in.
    4) Log out, and when you log back in, hold down the "W" key. You might have to do this a few times if you got really stuck somewhere in the game world.

    They are dead. They cannot town Tele.
    Tickets were submitted and they have yet to do anything about it- it's been 3 days.

    Maybe going into WC telling people we are dropping coins and good gear to get MORE people stuck will bring attention to this issue....b:cute

    yeah get more ppl to come and get bugged too, offer money so they come and also be as bored as you , good job losers, some a-hole just did it to me, now i cant play. Selfish fks. Go to hell.

    Really GMs can teleport my cleric to nearest city?? Im downloading the game again to be safe that are not my files. Need help here, cant play with my cleric since 3 days ago. My seeker cant play too.

    You must submit a ticket to get this resolved. GM's can't touch your account based on a forum post. There must be a ticket trail.

    well I hope you understand that we have submitted tickets and been three days that we are missing out on 2x grinding farming nw etc.......its a bit frustrating since if everyone is like me we have to farm for our gear refines and shards....are you gonna compensate us for our lost time no....so we want to get back on the game asap.

    Due to high volumes of tickets it takes 3-5 business days to get an answer from Tech Support, Tech Support works Monday-Friday, 10am - 7pm California Time. With this expansion they're are many user having Technical issue so it's natural no.of tickets are also increased that's why it will take sometime to get a reply. b:cute

    And how is that our fault that Perfect World did all these changes and wasn't prepared correctly with the staffing to handle the volume of tickets. If they are getting to big for there own britches I guess its time to hire some more people now isn't it!!!!!!!

    and again not working weekends I guess the above sentence goes as well if to much work maybe they should extend there work week if they cant handle there 14 or 15 games.

    and guess what if it isn't for the players there would be no perfect world or the other games they got goin on. don't say the world doesn't revolve around us. this is a game that perfect world depends on the cash shoppers and the players to survive, so I would have to say yes it does.

    I wasn't complaining I was explaining why people are getting frustrated at being stuck and you singled my quote out.

    I downloaded the version 729 update,but cannot get into the game.When I click on the "Start" button it goes dark but after a minute it just closes the start up screen.No warnings or errors come up.I think the issue is with my patcher or launcher but cannot find where to download this.Please help.

    1) should have a GM respond to this thread and tell us what exactly that error message means.

    2) GM's should PORT to each stuck character and teleport them away. It is now almost a week and no help was given thus far.

    3) The responses to tickets- to reinstall the game is pure bull ****. Obviously this is not an isolated incident if it is happening to multiple people. Having to uninstall and reinstall the game should be the last resort... especially when it takes forever.

    The error that shows in this post means that the texture files were unable to load. This is most usually cause by corrupt files, which is usually caused by your antivirus software, but can be caused by other things as well.
    2) GM's should PORT to each stuck character and teleport them away. It is now almost a week and no help was given thus far.
    If you submit a ticket, they can move the character. It's not porting to the character, it's just changing the location of the character in the character data sheet.

    Alternatively, the method I posted previously may get you fixed faster. Unless it's the corrupt texture issue, then you need to fix the AV software, and run verify a few times. (Once never fixes it, and twice rarely does.)

    This is what happens when the majority of your tech support staff are college interns that know little about the game and how it works. I would be willing to bet that I'm more familiar with the intricacies of the client and the server than half of the PWE support staff.

    Well. I hope They fix this soon, I already reinstall the game n didnt work, Runned the game without AV, still not working. i lowered all my setting n didnt work too. i tried install the game in diferent pc n didnt work too .

    This happened to a guildie yesterday as well. What she did was reinstall the game. Then when she logged on, she held the W key to try to get away from that glitched area. It was in Land of the buried bones too, I believe. It did take her a while since she got kicked off almost immediately. But she's back now. Try holding the W key when you first log in to move to an area that isn't glitched.

    Ok, if you're not able to login because the client crashes right after it finished "Loading" and before you see the graphical interface of the game, Follow the steps I outlined previously here.

    If your client is crashing and showing the error outlined in this thread, then you need to fix your files. Follow these instruction to fix that. (There is a possibility that you may also need to update your video card driver with drivers from the manufacturer.)

    *A FIX THAT WORKS *

    i just got my response from the support team and it worked, just lower all your game graphic settings to low then log in. You can do that from the launcher window, there is a graphic options button. I also made my game windowed and 640x480 just to escape the bug, dont know if thats nesseccary, they didn't suggest it but i did it.

    You can put your graphics back to high after you escape the bug.

    This just happened to my Wizard, but not in the world, in the Realm of Reflection.
    I've tried just about everything shy of uninstall/reinstall.
    I'm sending in my ticket today, guess we shall see how fast this is fixed.

    Cause you think it's normal that some people are stuck and cannot play since over 6 days?
    Those people did nothing bad and get punish and are not able to play for days/week in a 2x time, in a new expansion, I know one of those person play a veno and the time she miss in game equal a pet evolution that she will be late on other people, same with the meridian system and also miss NW and TW. Those people miss all the new stuff for something that is not their fault.

    I know people that got banned for 24 hours for sharing accounts, 24hours for using proxy, 7 days for fake bid in TW and people that do nothing bad cannot play for 5 days and more?

    I do understand that there's a line, but you should understand that it's normal people get frustrated, they wait days/week for something that take 2 seconds to fix.

    It's not players's fault if PWI are greedy on money and only employ 20 students for 14 games, in my country majority of students do work the weekend (and even evening/night), they could got 1-2 persons working the weekend for ticket for in game technical issues like that. (but not for ticket about report violation of the TOS or things like that)

    I know users get frustrated. I've been one of those frustrated users. (I've had tickets take anywhere from one to six months to be resolved.) A lot of people though, (like the one I quoted in my post that you quoted), don't understand the basics behind PWE's support system. They don't understand why they aren't getting a response right now. Especially if they've spent oodles of hard-earned money on a bunch of pixels on a screen or in a database.

    I've given alternative fixes, and another user has posted their fix that they got from the Support Staff. If those don't work, send in a ticket. Just be aware that it's going to take time. (A concept that the past couple of generations seem to have trouble with.)

    I'm not saying they have no right to get frustrated, I'm just informing them of the source of their frustration.
    PWE's support system sucks. I've offered to help. They insist on limiting themselves.

    in regards to tech support being overwhelmed with to many games and being college interns...that is PWE's problem not the players. rule #1 in a business is to keep customers happy and coming back to spend more money. if you can't do rule #1 the rest of the rules are irrelevant. also look at the amount of money that PWE takes in annually. they can easily afford more staff without it even making a slight dent in their profits.

    i can't think of any business who would want admit they are providing poor and slow service on purpose. and by your reasoning they are making that choice.
