    My game keeps crashing right after i choose what character to log in with. Gives me the bug report window. Tried verifying and opening from other locations, but nothing is working.

    Did you all DL the manual patch and applied it before the servers went down or during?

    Im doing mine right now directly off the client...hoping my thing doesnt blow up :(

    yes i did the manual patch and it screwed me :) or maybe its just something else ZOOOMM

    Luckily my comp shut off on me and both times the manual application of the patch had yelled at me that the file was corrupted during DL so I said **** that. We'll see how this goes

    Got on just fine-I think its if you did the patch manually for teh early day DL that messes things up

    its a 5 year old game what do you expect?
    This game is like washing hair with shampoo... Rinse and repeat if desired.

    You may have to verify files to fix messed up ones.
    There are old Warriors, and bold Warriors,
    but there are very few old bold Warriors. b:chuckle

    Most of the time, crashes like that are caused by corrupted or missing resources. I know it's much to ask, but maybe you should try a fresh new install.

    Yeah, there's probably other ways of fixing it, but i'll just reinstall the whole game. So, be back when it's done installing... in a month or two. b:shocked

    Crashing here as well. Launcher opens, shows game is updated, then just disappears. . .

    Try manual patch ? Auto-update isn't a good idea when there's big update like Descent or Sirens of War or Rising of Call.

    i've been getting this problem since before update so not surprised, i thought it was just windows 8 not being supported (doesnt crash on my windows 7 laptop)

    PWI is supported in Windows 8 also just not officially confirmed yet but it really supports Windows 8 few friends of mine play PWI in Win 8. b:surrender

    I have updated my client by using manual patch, i can play without any issue atm, try verify option or re-apply the manual patch if it let's you i guess there's a lil bit problem with this patch. Some users may find trouble getting back in game.

    Did auto patch and got crash. Did verify and still crash.

    Know people who did manual patch and crashed too.

    Cannot re-apply manual patch.

    Either you have to have ARC to play properly or they didn't test patch before release. b:surrender

    The elementclient.exe also opens launcher now which makes me wonder if it will cause dual clienting issues.

    Hit start, client crash, open again, updating, hit start it crash, open again, updating, hit start etc etc etc

    Very same issue, Open launcher, click start and get this:

    Click OK then nothing.

    Or, go to install folder and try to open element.exe directly, and OH WOOPS, element.exe NOW OPENS Launcher!! Rinse and Repeat.... Start.... and:
