I just...I just don't like metal/rock as much as I used to. Like, I think the last metal albums I downloaded was this one and the newest Epica/Kamelot/Pythia/Xandria albums. I dunno. Just doesn't appeal to me as much anymore.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I love DnB. I just really don't like dubstep at all outside of a few songs.
I'm really liking this soundtrack though from those two songs. I'll listen to the rest later.

mostly not my style. I dont like opera kind of stuff, gothic etc very much. I just like clear voice metal like the ones i posted and of course the standard ones like metallica and iron maiden.

To go on a bit of a tangent, my introduction to metal outside of like the old ones everyone knows (Black Sabbath/Metallica/Judas Priest/Iron Maiden/etc.) was Nightwish 'cause I was looking for more bands with female vocalists after listening to that one Evanescence album on repeat for months (we all know the one, you probably listened to it too, dun be shy). Nightwish's best album was 'Wishmaster'. The others with Tarja (barring the first album) and 'Dark Passion Play' with Anette were good, but ******n, I cannot listen to 'Imaginaerum' at all.

You mean evanessence ? No never listend that honestly. Nightwish-wishmaster, yes a few times too many i think
About the clean voice, it hasnt always been like that. (as with the gothic that i did like at some point) When i just got into metal at 15yrs old i liked black and death metal. But it became boring and i changed tastes and started prefering the old metal more and more. Nowadays i dont listen metal much anymore at all, but when i do, its just this style, actually just a select few bands (the ones i posted and metallica 90% of the time, sabbath, maiden, dio the other 10%. Also when i was more into trying the non mainstream stuff. Now i just think they (sabbath, metallica, maiden) are mainstream for a reason: they are the best in their genre. Its the same in other genries. that song "people can fly" i posted, it is the absolute undisputed most famous song of the psy trance genre. Many people in the scene dislike it for that reason. But honestly, its just a damn good song.....
and i cant listen to that grunty stuff anymore, just a matter of taste.0 -
