Burnout - Harshlands

I think a lot of people go through a phase where they start enjoying metal, but then just get tired and disillusioned of it simply because the majority of metal just plain sucks.

I remember desperately trying to find some decent metal on youtube and the web. After almost an hour I finally closed my browser, scarred and traumatized for life.

...As for other decent music...I like to listen to stuff that have distinct, emotional but "poppy" melodies, like TBM: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1uCRb041Ew .

Anyone still remember this popular vid? It was like my first exposure to metal ever, I remember being slightly scared and only later realizing how much I liked it, lol.

My first exposure to Cradle of Filth was some random song blaring in someone's Gaia profile. It was enough to turn me off from ever looking into them. I don't even remember what song it was, but it definitely wasn't this one as I actually like this one, wtf.
