Well, to be fair anyone with half a break could figure that out. But alrighty kind sir. Whatever you want is fine for PvE honestly, but when it comes to PvP you're gonna get facerolled in anything under R9R3. If getting two shot left and right is your idea of "fun" then by all means, have at it. I'm not gonna stop you.

I never did understand why people intentionally use worse gear than they could, but then again I think differently. You can use whatever you want, it's not my place to try to stop you. You go girlfriend!

r8 wrist+boots can cost 10m ea if you are patient with buying candy for 100k instead of 200k.

But the cost of r8r and the range of stats you can get on it...you're better off just going g16 nirvana or r9rr.

I'm not sure in what world only r8r psys can have 10k+ base phys.def because you can have 10k phys def with r9 recast, and obviously r9 2nd recast is even better. Even if you spend large amounts of money to get above 30% crit rate with r8r, you can spend that money to get r9rr, have 25%+ crit rate, way way more att/def levels and way way more damage.

So why the ** would anybody want to go r8r nowadays when you've got g16 and r9rr? It's pretty clear Apostasy was never good in any game he's played.



@to a previous comment not understanding why ppl choose to wear worse gear - so you don't lose the edge, if all you do is fight people that can't scratch you whereas you one shot them left n right, you aren't really going to do well once you meet somebody of equal gear.

Obviously in NWs and TWs you'd need to be a moron not to use best gear, but if you wish to practice pvp then matching your opponent's gear makes far more sense than feeding your ego by beating a guy with three times the gear he has.

You have to be a moron to not use the best gear in TW and NW? Being that the best gear is r9.2 or whatever its called now, plus refines, and sharding...that gets expensive, for those who don't care to farm or merchant.

And considering this game brings in less new players than the old players that are leaving, causing a decrease in population over time, I personally would rather have less than stellar gear, and more money in my real life pocket because no one knows when the plug would be pulled on the game, and even if it lasts a few more years, the population is not the healthiest.

I can afford the best gear in the game, but I would only consider it if PWI can figure out a way to bring in fresh blood, and a LOT of it. They need to do something, but in a game that is as old as PW, wanmei seems hellbent on milking the end game, and little else.

So basically you'll spend a decade trying to get those stats on r8rr and ornaments, still with this virtually impossible to obtain gear you'll have 44att/31def base with 12.7k hp in comparison to r9rr who has ~110att/50def base and 15k+ hp.

So yes sure, by all means go for it - oh and yea, your 20-22k dmg sure looks good in comparison to r9rr 24-28k+. Your whole build is very misleading, you're basically showing the best stats you can get on all gear along with everything else you're unlikely to have.

There are just two viable builds atm - g16 nirvana if you're poor and r9rr if you can farm/afford it. Anything else is for idiots.

With a crit rate like that you're about 19% cumulative higher than most endgame sage psy's. Your mag attack however is incredibly gimped for endgame, about 2/3 what it could be, and 20% lower hp, lower atk/def levels... All in all your build looks on par with r9.1 for the price tag of r9.3 or higher. Meh.
